Sounds like there's an error with the mail notification checking the wrong draft, you would've acquired the #1 in the regular draft only. (Won't be an issue going forward, at least, since the WHL seems to have decided to go back to a single draft.)

1926 they were still playing the challenge with the PCHL. Did you move the season too long?

I had same issue where the Stanley Cup 'event' was scheduled, but didn't occur, after expansion in first season 1917-18. Thereafter it always reschedules as December of the following season, so never gets played. Jeff fixed the issue in my save, so I assume a permanent fix is coming.

If leagues can only be edited on July 1 why are new league creations starting you on August 15?

So you don't have to sim a bunch. There's an option to Start on July 1st you can use if you want it, but many do not.

Quick question: I remember reading somewhere that we can put a league into "inactive"? And that we can only do this on July 1st. I created a custom game to test this but cannot find this option anywhere. Am I hallucinating or is there really a way to do this?

Is there a way to edit the database before the game starts? For example is there a way to take the database file and in some program, such as Excel, edit players, attributes, and other things so I don't have to make the same changes every time I start a new file?

Where the sounds of goal horns ect implemented in 7? And was the duration changed instead if the 4 seconds after home goal? Also dont hear whistle after stoppages thanks guys

Looking at purchasing the game on Steam platform. Just wondering if its possible to start as Seattle at the end of the 2021 season before their team is selected. Is this even possible?

So basically go thru the expansion draft, entry draft and free agency with Seattle.

Or can I set it up that it would go to the Seattle expansion draft after one season in 2020/2021

I have Rob Niedermayer asking 6.2 millions for 3 years....

I have Mike Milbury asking 1year for 8.13 millions

I have Bill Ranford asking for 2 year 10.06 millions

The best one John Madden asking 1year 13.05 millions

Can i change that lolol

By default, Seattle will appear in 2021 if you select "New Standard Game". You would have to sim a year though. They'll be able to participate in the draft that year.

It isn't currently possible to start before their team is selected.

You may also add them manually in the game in 2000. You wouldn't be able to draft in that first year though.

Im playing year 2020 and i start with 2020

Is it a converted game or it was started with FHM 7?
Not a convert game only a custom game create with FHM 7

Yeah its a 90 teams league with a structure of 15 teams each division.

I have 32 Teams (2020-2021)
I have 26 Teams (1994-1995)
I have 16 Teams (1973-1974)
I have 6 Teams (1956-1957)
I have 9 Teams (1933-1934)
I have 1 team With Random players

I import historical team only the last one i selected player 1 by 1.

Hire Minor League GM
Both of my minor league teams have no GM. I cannot hire new GM from available GMs in Staff Free Agent Screen. I tried to hire as another job and then change job to GM, but that didn't work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

No, you can make changes though and then save the Game as a Quickstart, therefore being able to load into it each time you want.
