After losing a close one yesterday, the Jays got absolutely destroyed today.

The Cubs won, 16-3.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cade Doughty homered for Toronto.

Paul Blackburn was solid. The bullpen did less well, but it was still more than enough for the Blue Jays to beat the Reds, 10-5.

The Toronto bullpen did a good job after Yu Darvish left the game with a tired arm in the 3rd, but the bats didn't hold dup their end. The Reds beat the Blue Jays, 4-1.

Seth Brown homered for the only Toronto run.

LP - Yu Darvish (0-5)

Record - 54-74

Word is that Darvish won't need an IL stay but his next start might get pushed back.

Marcell Ozuna went 2 for 3 with. home run, leading the Jays to an 8-4 win over the Angels.

But it was a costly win. Byung-heon Choi strained his oblique while scoring in the 2nd. Then Rafael Ortega hurt his knee while scoring in the 6th.

Choi is out for a month. We don't know about Ortega.

Brandon Lowe also homered.

The Jays led by as much as 6-0 before their bullpen let the Angels right back into the game. In the end it was another loss, this time by a score of 10-9.

Nolan Arenado went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double.

Aaron Judge and Seth Brown also homered.

Cade Doughty went 4 for 5 with a home run.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left the game with back stiffness. We are told he will miss 3 or 4 games.

That is five losses in a row for Toronto.
