A Detroit bantamweight who only fought for two years in the early thirties, <a href="http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=049345" target="_blank">Ernie Maurer</a> was ranked as high as #4 by the National Boxing Association, although he was primarily a local fighter. He compiled an impressive record of 53-3-5 (17). He was never stopped.

The attached fighter was playtested against more than 800 bantamweights and featherweights with ratings of 3 and below. Against them he performed quite accurately.

Philadelphia <a href="http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=024550" target="_blank">middleweight</a> fought from 1935 to 1943, finishing with a record of 36-28-6 (5). He was stopped five times.

* Was a great amateur but never lived up to the great expectations assigned to him as a professional. He had a great 1981 with wins over Barry Goss KO2 and Livingstone Bramble WMD8. It was all downhill from there. His first loss wasn't until 1987, but with the exception of a 10 round win over Freddie Pendelton, the names on his record are less than appealing.

** He is currently on death row in PA for murder.

A record, I believe. Perhaps by a wide margin. Add in all the good folks who have posted images (I shall name them later) and this will be one great collaborative effort. Well done!

i enjoyed rock allens ratingsfrom ice tea..... and a great link of future prospects from mh2365. i use my universe a little bit different so some of my prospects come out over rated in most peoples universes a point mh2365 pointed out to which i reacted a little tetchy too. As it`s the start of a new year by gone`s and all that ...... i`m sorry but interestingly i have had hardly any surprises with my prospects ~(mainly cos slithgly overated) but had surpises with peterson brothers(who i didnt rate) aainst 1 rated fighters which made me feel that you need to over protect there ratings a little bit . you can only match them with fighters rated 1/2?

rock made his debut in my uni last night closely nicking a split dec over a 1 rated fighter............

out of the espn future fighters joel julio,raul martinez, and Vanes Martirosyan are the only ones missing that havent been posted but i aim to change that asap......is there any more we need to add to that list?

any way enough rambling...........

Once again I never meant that as a personal slight ... but speaking of which I saw the replay yesterday of that Green-Codrington fight that was freaking brutal ... I'd be surprised if he ever amounts to anything in boxing after that.

Thanks! I just posted an update of Rock Allen. I forgot to list his year of birth. He was a top amateur at the same time as Jamar Patterson was, they are in the same weight class. I've been watching Rock Allen's career due to the fact that I think he and Patterson will do battle soon. I think Allen is the better prospect.

He also lost to: Michael Spinks L8, Dwight Muhammed Qawi L8, Jerry Martin L6, Tony Mundine L8.
