I'm in the process of finishing off the missing 1980 Baseball Cards. I'm adding cards for those who were on the wrong team, had bad airbrushes, no cap or were traded.

My blog shows all the work that I've completed so far

Here is a list of players who I need color photos for. I'm hoping you have them. I've used B&W, minor league photos or rookie panel card photos for them, but would like to upgrade the complete set.

If you would like to d/l the full set I can post the links for it. I'm using it for a season replay in a league right now.

If you have any of these players in color that would be awesome. In some cases a pristine B&W head shot might do the trick, since I can colorize it myself.

I have been collecting 1980's images for several years. I may have a couple of these guys, as well as better images for some of the other cards you've made. I will look at home and see what I have.

Looks like Gaetti posed for pics wearing Faedo's #. It has to be Gaetti, because it doesn't 100% look like Faedo, even though it's labeled that way on this site

If you can retouch caps, these Richmond TCMA cards are actual Braves uniforms (they actually still used hand-me-downs then).

If you read the rest of that thread, you'll see it was corrected there as well. I'm the one who posted it there and it was labeled Gaetti on eBay (where I grabbed it from). As I say, after it was identified as Gaetti, my ID skills suck (unless its a Met) so I rely on the ones posting the pictures to ID them properly.

You're 100% right. Sometimes you get what you get...I pretended I worked for that company on 1 Whitehall street and did and ugly airbrush on his minor league card and came up with this one that will serve as a placeholder until I find something better.

Merkle, that's a fine photo. Depending on what date that game was played I just might have been there myself. Chances are my Canon AE1-Program and my 70-210mm zoom could not have gotten as close as your shot from where I was sitting out in the bleachers . Thanks for sharing. Here's the new card that puts my airbrush job to bed forever !
