I am looking for Candy Maldonado (above all), Ted Power, Mark Bradley, Jack Perconte, Pepe Frias, Gary Weiss, Mike Marshall, Tom Niedenfuer, and Alejandro Pena. Also Don Crow and Jerry Grote if they made it into that issue. Thanks.

It has thumbnail sized B&W shots for: Bradley, Brock, Crow, Holton, Marshall, Maldonado LMK which ones you'd like and I can scan them tonight after work. |

Maldonado wore No. 20 for most of his time in LA, but he wore another number during his '81 Dodgers stint, so that is what I am looking for. Maldonado, Bradley, and Crow are welcome, and you can add Frias too if it is a good shot. Thanks a lot. |

1982 Yankees
The obvious ones are just that. The number on the batting helmet almost always moves an image from "unidentified" to "identified." The right hander, particularly because of the slightly jowly appearance, is indeed Dave Wehrmeister:

Joe Jackson 1908
Heritage is up with a few auction lots based on photography done during 1911 at Cleveland's camp and a New York Giants' visit to Chicago.
The images online are a little small, but given that I don't think they've been seen before, some of the obscure ones are worth posting. As is the one of this fella Jackson. Outfielder, I think ;-) |

Cotton Knaupp 1910
Cleveland shortstop, briefly, 1910-11.
I'll distill a few more of these obscure ones in the next few days as time permits. |

I was reading about this one earlier. It's been authenticated as genuine (by PSA) and is expected to fetch as much as $100,000--possibly more. The guy who owned it (and the other Naps photos) was a Cleveland fan. He'd bought the collection for $15,000 (from a family that had known the photographer, Frank W. Smith of the Plain Dealer newspaper) and never thought about its value; it was just precious to him and he'd go through it almost every day. He passed and the family was going through his things, figuring some should find a new home. Only recently did they find out the potential value. |

Jack Graney 1908
The outfielder - and one of the first ex-players to become a long-serving radio announcer, also in Cleveland.

1971 Jim Barr
Would anybody have a 1971-72 Jim Barr from the Giants in a portrait format such as the Topps Vault?
I enclosed the Giants unis from the year. Thanks, BRobby05 |

Jim Barr - SF Giants
Here are a couple. Not sure of the year, but the uni looks right.

Jim Barr 1971
A Giants and NL ID trick - especially for that work done by the great Bay Area photographer Doug McWilliams - illustrated in the second Barr above.
Remodeling of Candlestick from a terrible stadium to an unbearable one took place during the 1971 baseball season, resulting in photos that reflect unfinished decks and general construction weirdness. So those are ALWAYS 1971. |
