I'm re-posting this photo of pitcher Sapho Bartlett because I had the wrong proper name for him when I first posted it in November. This is Raymond Howard "Sapho" Bartlett. He was with the Indianapolis ABCs during the 1910 through 1914 seasons. He was also with the Lincoln Giants in 1913 and Jewell's ABCs of Indianapolis in 1919.

"Hop" Bartlett, P, is shown in the uniform of the Kansas City Monarchs. This seems to be the same player as indicated to be Howard "Homer" or "Hop" or "Sapho" Bartlett by Clark and Lester, but Seamheads.com has distinguished Sapho Bartlett as a separate player. I think that Howard probably is the correct formal first name for this player, based not only on the Clark/Lester register, but also on the photo caption for the Monarchs' team photo.

Roy Welmaker, P, is shown in the uniform of the Homestead Grays. Three photos of Roy have been posted previously on this thread. Two showed him in minor league uniforms and the other depicted him with the American All-Stars, a barnstorming team consisting of players from the Negro Leagues.
