Zach Schellenberger and Taylor Bashlor worked the seventh and eighth innings.
The ninth was split between Danny Grigg, who got the first out, and Brandon Gold, who recorded the final two for his first save of the season.
The Grapplers got both of their runs in the bottom of the second off St. Louis starter Alex Faedo.
Dominic Smith was hit by a pitch to open the inning. Faedo followed it with a walk to Joc Pederson.
