I don't know how I missed that earlier Gary Ross pic. Thanks for pointing that one out. I'm a little surprised we haven't seen any Vault pics for Mike Ivie yet...
You also will want to be EXTREMELY careful with the Getty pics. They are notoriously litigious and possessive of their images.

Not Bill Swaggerty for the 4th pic...Swaggerty was right handed, our friend appears to be a southpaw and doesn't look like Swaggerty to me...my guess is Jack O'Connor.

Although I agree with Merkle that the alphabetical aspect of these folders is a random thing, O'Connor is a fit in that regard as well as a close match to the image you've provided.

With the Youkilis ID, I have no more color images that have no ID. Several, like these, have been rightly or wrongly questioned, and I am trying to re-evaluate all of those. Lack of evidence or conviction will lead me to post them here.

And then we'll be more or less done with this project.

Attached is a photo of Ruddell which I obtained from the player. It appears to be the same fellow as in the Topps Vault photo. Regarding the two no-hitters, it would be more correct to say that he participated in two no-hitters in one season. He threw one nine-inning no-hitter by himself, and he shared in the other no-hitter with a Trois Rivieres teammate in that 1971 season. (He pitched six out of the seven innings in that second no-hitter). He pitched another no-hitter in the Eastern League in 1974. He told me that he pitched a fourth no-hitter in pro ball, but I was unable to find documentation of it. Perhaps he did, but I can't demonstrate it.

Don't know why you'd have any doubt about Bob Aspromonte. He's a fairly unique looking dude...and that is most certainly he.
