Racine's boxing career covered a decade of fighting. Along the way he won 35amateur fights including a Golden Gloves Title.
As the number one contender for the Canadian Lightweight Championship, Ralph fought the legendary Gaetan Hart. It was a hard and exhausting battle with Ralph leading in the early rounds. In the 12th round the bout was stopped and Ralph collapsed. Later that evening he was operated on and surgeons removed a blood clot.
Ralph's injuries were severe enough to prevent him from boxing again.

Thanks Christopher, all is well. Today was the first day in 2 months that I've had time to set in front of the computer. I've had to work a ton of overtime so far this year and just when I think I'll have some time at home, I get paged to go on a fire call from the volunteer fire dept. We have had 33 grass fires since Jan.
