Guys I have some good news and some bad news about Diamond.

The good news is we have 6 OL teams in Diamond. Plus I have no doubt we will play enough games for a crown - all of the OL teams are in 3 divisions in the same league. So the random distribution of teams has worked FOR us for once.

The bad news is that we are in the BFF league, so there are 17 BFF teams to compete against this week. Strap in, it's gonna be a tough ride.

Edit to add: after being pretty lazy this season I will compile diamond standings this week!

Damn. It was looking like we might have been done with BFF/DLL pairings. Most of the OL teams in Diamond must be pretty well up to the challenge now though, so good luck!

Looks like the Crakes got 14 OL games while others will get a lot more. At least they have enough for a crown.

Yeah, I saw that 3-23 HelthWyzer decides to win 4 games against the Syrups (and still win the Wooden Spoons). Not sure if that is possible in a real world league just on motivations alone but it is possible with RNG. I feel for you.

I haven't looked at the fixtures yet. 14 is pretty darned good considering. I'll check once the league has begun, 'cause the fixtures do change a bit sometimes. 10-4/9-5 could give you a sneaky chance at a crown!

2044 tier split:

other than a lone Rookie tier team, OL has vacated the two lowest tiers. Iron a mess but the others look good (outside of Kaipo being left out of Silver for whatever reason, as they were included last season)

Rookie - 1 team
Stone - 0 teams
Iron - 4 teams (2 in one league, 2 others in separate leagues)
Bronze - 13 teams
Silver - 13 teams (12 in one league, one in another)
Gold - 8 teams
Diamond - 6 teams

Coney Island has made 3 roster transactions prior to the start of the season. Adding Joe DiMaggio, Kevin Brown and Dennis Martinez. Lemon, Guidry and Chapman have been optioned to the minors to make room for the new additions.
