It wasn't exactly the return to the Majors that Jim Kane wanted, but it was still a Win as the Jays beat the White Sox, 8-7. Mike Marshall's big home run was the difference maker. Francisco Mendoza also hit one out for Toronto. Bob Allen left the game with a bruised finger but it was nothing serious.
