For the Bigs it was Bip Roberts, Rangers & Patrick Jaouen, Cardinals The Jays held at #25 on the Weekly Power Rankings, ahead of only the Padres.

Carlos Hernandez left the game after being hit in the knee by a pitch. It doesn't look like he will require an IL stint. WP - Todd Clark (5-8) LP - Tom Henke (1-2) Record - 53-76

Mike Murphy's first game with the Jays couldn't have gone better. He went 4 for 4 with a home run as the Jays beat the White Sox, 9-5. Jacob Morrison, Mark Mooney, and Manuel Garcia also went deep for Toronto. Kevin Thompson left the game with back spasms but they do not appear to be too serious.
