The bottom of the order came up big when they needed it as an 8th inning RBI triple by Westhers Magdaleno followed by an RBI single by Cam Shepherd gave the Jays a 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Detroit tied an all-time record by striking out 20 batters in a 9-inning game.

They are only the second team to do it twice. They lost both times.
