The Vault graced us with Joaquin Andujar in red. The others I haven't seen. And there are lots of us who would like to see a good picture of Pinson in Brewer garb.

Danilo "Danny" Leon - 1992 Texas Rangers

From the good Dr., best image I've seen not on a baseball card of 15 game reliever for the Rangers.

Cris Colon - 1992 Texas Rangers

A September call up for the 1992 Rangers, Venezuelan shortstop Cris Colon hit .167 in 36 at bats and never reached the majors again. This is also from the Dr.

Jack Doscher 1903
On July 2nd, 1903, Jack Doscher made his major league debut as a starting pitcher for the Chicago Cubs in Philadelphia. He lasted just three innings, allowing six hits while walking two and hitting a batter. He was released after that one game by Chicago and signed by the Brooklyn Superbas on July 15th. He pitched three games in relief for Brooklyn that season, two games the next (while also pitching for Troy in the New York State League), and twelve games in 1905, including seven starts. (The photo below is from the 1905 season.) In 1906, he pitched in just two games for Brooklyn, and spent most of that season and all of the next with Harrisburg in the Tri-State League. His final major league appearances were seven games with Cincinnati in 1908; he continued in the minor leagues through 1914.

I'm not trying to be dumb here but I was just wondering if:

Kucek was "KOO-sek" or "QUE-sek" or "KOO-chek"
Pitlock was "PITT-lok"
Cy was "SIGH"

I've looked in my 74 Chisox media guide and baseball registers to no avail.

Thanks,

Sam Woodruff 1904
Orville Francis Woodruff played 87 games in 1904 for the Cincinnati Reds, mostly at third base for the injured Harry Steinfeldt. He only batted .190, poor even in the deadball era, so he was then back in the minor leagues (with Louisville in the American Association) until 1910, when he played another 21 games for the Reds, and batted .148 to finish his major league career. He continued in the minors through 1915.

1960 Indians, from a low-res team photo. I'll leave this one on the list as "need better."

Here's another one with Newk sporting his new Cleveland uniform. This is from the Titusville (PA) Herald of August 3, 1960.

Billy Cotton 1972

I think this is conclusive on whether or not the long-time catching prospect actually appeared on a major league roster without ever appearing in a game.

This just popped up on eBay, a scorecard from the season-ending Mets series at Montreal, October 2-4, 1972 (confirmed to be that by the presence of Tommy Moore on the roster - he didn't make his major league debut until 9/15/72).

Check out number 22 on your scorecard but number 1 in your hearts...
