While I search for that Cleveland shot I have somewhere, in honor of his 90th birthday Tuesday, here, in order, are Newcombe in the L.A. Dodgers colors in 1958, in camp with the 1959 or 1960 Reds (also in color), back with the Dodgers in black and white in 1961 (he didn't make it), and during his time with the 1962 Chunichi Dragons - as a first baseman-outfielder (he hit 12 homers in 301 plate appearances).

Wondering if anyone has a high-res portrait shot of Kevin McReynolds, preferably with his face square to the camera.

Also would prefer it to be from his mid to later career, Mets or Royals, i.e. without the mustache he wore in his early days with San Diego and the Mets. If all you have is a mustache shot though, I'll take it!

You'd think that sort of shot would be easy to find, but I've come up blank from an internet search for anything like it.

Not sure that they are high-res shots but these scans of two Barry cola postcards (1989 and 1990) were taken with his face square to the camera and without the mustache.

Dutch Jordan 1903
Adolph Otto Jordan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was an infielder for the Brooklyn Superbas who filled in for second baseman Tim Flood in 1903 when Flood was injured and for second baseman Sammy Strang in 1904 when Strang was injured. Jordan played in a total of 165 games in those two seasons, but batted just .236 (1903) and .179 (1904), and never again played in the major leagues. He managed in the minor leagues after his playing career had ended.

Thanks man! I always like to do my own research so I don't need to pester somebody, but I couldn't find and info on these even when I googled them. Also, thanks soooo much for all the great photos that you put up here especially like the pic of John Stearns with the Phils. You always see him with the Mets, but he WAS in my 1974 Phillies Yearbook as a rookie.


One quickie again, is this Kusek above a homonym for the Twins Craig Kusick because the 74 Twins guide has "CUE-sik" in the punctuation guide inside the front cover. I just thought I'd ask because I found that a few of the guides' "opinions" were wrong.
