The Stars aligned themselves atop a five-way race in the chase for the gold crown.

The Gooeys grabbed the lead after two months of sims.

K-Town, Ring Road, and Otonokizaka trying to keep it from being a runaway for the Boppers. Shangri-La had a tough month of May.

Cary staked a claim on the top spot in OL G348. A half dozen teams still have a legitimate shot at the crown as we enter the backstretch.

The Flame continue their impressive rookie run by taking the lead in the six-way chase.

Vlora temporarily took the lead in Bronze on Wednesday. The White Stallions, 7th in the NC in runs scored and 9th in runs allowed, don't look like a team that will remain on top for long. Especially with the likes of Otonokizaka and Blitzkrieg on their heels.

The Muse recently won 9 in a row and the Boppers, despite their current 4th place ranking, have 13 games remaining against the lowly Asheboro Road Dogs. Blitzkrieg has won all six games they've played against Asheboro this season.

The AC wild-card chase is a logjam of OL teams.

Cary continues to set the pace in the five-way race for the title.

The Flame still holds sway, lengthening their lead in the six-team race in silver.

Vlora remains on top in Bronze, but Cochise County was the big mover of the day, gaining second place over Blitzkrieg.

In non-OL play, Cochise County is the best team in the league, while Asheboro is the worst.

It seems all five OL iron teams made it into I265. Hopefully someone will step up to get some standings by the end. I am assuming that OMGpuppies will take care of diamond again.

The Southpaws, with seven games, remaining hold a solid lead over Shinbone, who also have seven to play, and Highland, which has four games to go. If Cary goes 4-3, there's no opening for the two trailing squads. Both the Stars and Raccoons can ill afford to play less than stellar ball down the stretch, however, and even a couple of losses would be difficult to overcome without a complete collapse by Cary.

Illawarra appears poised to make their debut triumphant as they blazed through August and widened their lead in the crown chase. The biggest hope for their closest rivals, Ewa Beach and South Side, is a disastrous September stumble by the leaders. The Flame have 13 games left and would need to lose at least 10 to crack the door. The Fighting Chickens, who have only four left, can't afford a single loss, while the Gooeys, who have eight left, might be able to afford two losses with a complete collapse by Illawarra.

I tried clipping the Gooeys logo from the game, but it doesn't seem to enlarge well. I offer this as an alternative if South Side comes back to capture a crown.

Blitzkrieg returned to the lead heading into the last month of play in OL B322. But there is still a lot of games left to decide the title. The Boppers have 19 OL games left on their schedule.

The Southpaws leaned heavily on their established cushion, slipping to 2-5 down the stretch, but still coming away with a comfortable victory. None of the chasers could manage the torrid pace necessary to overcome even a mediocre Cary final sim.

The Flame kept the heat on, with a sizzling 10-3 record during the final month to post a win in their initial entry in a crown chase. Southside, 7-2, and Ewa Beach, 3-1, kept pace, but that wasn't nearly enough. Ironically, the Fighting Chickens defeat came in game 162, as they fell to Asylum in a contest needed to determine the PT wild card.
