as luck would have it, the mighty Whips got whipped in the LDS... the other powerhouse team in that conference is heading to a 5th game so potentially both could be gone...

Shiners take down the Syrups in 4 games.... I'm thinking it's for the best, as the opponent in the LCS would have been a team Waffletown went 7-0 against in the regular season; which means I would have been swept anyway

edit - the 113 win OK warriors also go down in the LDS, so the road is wide open

Still 2 teams with slightly better records than Knockemstiff, but they're 2-1 up in the Sub-League atm. Might as well win now that a hammering in Diamond is confirmed

. I'm gonna try to rush through the signing of Rose tonight, but, everyone knows what it's like when you "just need one more card"...

Is it my bad that I find this a bit insulting?

No doubt something shifted with the last couple of patches. It's definitely more cold than hot now. Paxville and Knockemstiff are doing ok because they're spamming quicks, so they seem to cycle through the highs and lows over 2-3 days. But Seattle have been screwed in the dailies, with nothing better than a gold pack for too long. I'm certain that success in the quicks counts against you in dailies.

Paxville and South Holland starting Finals in Silver. Paxville finished 2-1 against the El Caminos this season.

I'm just getting screwed in all of them right now, and I'm not enjoying it one bit. Almost like RNG has decided I needed to be punished for being Magus.

In Gold, the Shiners got knocked stiff, losing the Sub-League in 7.

In Silver, the Kings took 3 pretty close decisions, before unleashing 15 runs in game 4 against South Holland. "Where are the Stealheadz rings, eh?" said series MVP Dave Magadan, pointedly, after the game (while looking in the direction of his manager).

I was just finishing up switching Port Ruppert over when the above result same in. Those were the last two OL teams alive in the PT playoffs.

It was interesting to me that the new manager, some guy named Computer Al, set up the team for a four man rotation. I put Luke Gofannon back in charge of roster moves, when I saw that Computer Al set up a larger pitching staff than needed with no back up at first. That being said, all I did was pull a pitcher and put Pete Rose onto the roster, since he plays a lot of spots. We'll see how Mr. Al does. I suspect, given the wealth of perfect cards, he'll do fine at least into gold. Not sure if GM Gofannon will make any roster moves anytime soon. I just noticed that I clipped the pitching graphic a bit. The only secondary roles of any interest are Paige and Mussina as emergency starters.

I think Computer Al might be a bit wishy-washy. Just after posting the above, I switched back to PT to close it out and saw that he had already switched to a five-man rotation.

Gives me something to watch, I guess. I do wish I could get Perry into the rotation, but Mr Al has his own ideas.

right there with ya.... other than the other morning when i woke up to 3 standard/3 diamond packs from tourneys, seems like I spend more time signing up for a tournament than I do playing in it.... most times I don't even bother looking at the results cause inevitably I'll give the screen a double middle finger salute, mutter something about being better than the garbage team that I lost to and sign up again for the same tourney

Just a heads-up that if your team will be in the Bronze level starting tomorrow, please make sure that the Keystone Kops are on your friends list.

It has been a long time since being in Bronze and I am hoping that I don't get stuck out in some different league being the only OL team!

This plan was a bad one. Silver has gone just as badly today. Something has to give soon, because I'm running out of levels to run to where I can actually rely on talent to win me games and not BS RNG.

Stone - 1 team
Iron - 3 teams (2 in one league, 1 in another)
Bronze - 13 teams (12 in one league; 1 in another)
Silver - 12 teams (11 in one league, 1 in another)
Gold - 12 teams
Diamond - 4 teams

Gold setup - looks like we have a couple divisions-of-death as the AC central has 4 OL teams, and the NC East has 5 OL teams. Three other teams are scattered in divisions of their own.

yeah, I wouldn't put it past 'em.... going to wait until the first sim to check the schedules as it has a habit of changing from what it shows before the season starts

In exchange I'll bring over exiled former BFF Brooklyn Dynasty, currently at diamond representing my future PT23 group BITW. Put two and two together to figure out what that means.
