Thanks tnfoto. After reading your post I found this picture on eBay.
The unidentified player in your list is listed as Mark Koenig.

Combining the first picture with the index of the second using photoshop, we have a complete team photo without watermark...

Hi everyone, looking for a picture of the late Marshal Renfroe, in a Giants uniform other than the Leaf card. Color or B/W doesn't matter...Thanks.

Leon Everitt 1969

Not much of this Dodger farmhand who became a five-game Padre pitcher after the Al McBean trade of April, 1969. The Padres pictures were taken in spring training, 1970. Due to injury, his career was already over...

Monday Topps uploads (KB) 171-174 Andy Etchebarren; 175-176 Francisco Estrada; 177-180 Jim Essian; 181-182 Glenn Ezell (Mets system); 183-184 Sam Ewing; 185-188 Leon Everitt; 189-190 Barry Evans; 191-192 Bob Farley; 193-194 Carmen Fanzone; 195-196 Harry Fanok; 197-200 Pete Falcone; 201-204 Jim Fairey; 205-206 Randy Fairbanks (Texas system); 207-210 Bill Fahey.

Randy Fairbanks

[QUOTE=Merkle923;4066762

Monday Topps uploads (KB) 205-206 tbd (could be Texas system pitcher Randy Fairbanks); [/QUOTE]

Found a newspaper article dated March 20, 1975 which indicated that on Wednesday, the first cuts had been made at Pompano Beach, where the Rangers were training, and Randy Fairbanks was among those cut. So he must have been a non-roster invitee that year. He definitely was not on the spring roster. So he is a plausible candidate.

A man named Randal C. Fairbanks is with the Fairbanks Law Group in Florida. It's the same name as our player, and it is known that our player was from Florida. The photo attached of this Randal C. Fairbanks bears some resemblance to the Topps Vault Texas Ranger (kb205). The nose and the dimple in the chin seem to be the same. The hair is so long in the case of the Topps Vault Ranger that it's hard to compare ears, but it looks like the bottom of the right ears make a reasonable match.

I've searched the Rangers' spring rosters from 1972 through 1983 (all the possible years for the uniform, counting use of the hold-over uniform from 1982), and I've not found any other left-handed pitcher with a surname beginning with F which could solve this mystery.

1985 White Sox, from a team photo. I'll leave him on the UIN list for now as "need better."

Combining and correcting your 2 pictures from 1925 with Photoshop, I got this result. Hope this can be useful.

This brings up a good point related to the UIN list.

For many uses and applications, photoshopped images (especially high-quality photoshop work) are sufficient but photoshopped/airbrushed images generally do not qualify for removal from the UIN list.

Why not contact him via the law firm and ask? He may get a kick out of the fact that he's being discussed here

Agree with your suggestion. I've sent him an email along with one of the Topps Vault photos. We'll see what happens.

Received a fairly rapid reply from Randal C. Fairbanks. He confirms that the Topps Vault photo is of him, and he is known informally as Randy Fairbanks. He was happy to have the photo, and looks forward to sharing it with his grandkids.

Is there a reason why I don't see the KB folder when I go to the Topps folder site? Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

If you use the link below and scroll down alphabetically below all the J's, you should come to KB.
