Very little change to the group other than the obvious Bell-for-Van Slyke switch. Espy is just up while Cat is on the IL.

Jon Lieber comes into the rotation and the plan is to keep Pettite on ice until next year.

We’ve ample alternative options in the meantime should the need arise.

Joe Table gets the Closer role this season, with Wake and Denny both in LR / spot SP roles.

Our pen is too reliant on converted SP for my liking but that’s just how it has to be for now.

We've quite a busy season ahead of us with regard to roster management, with a passel of pitchers coming off contract and a number of others reaching crunch time in their arb cycle.

Locking Reggie Sanders down for a good chunk of time on an acceptable chunk of dime is our #1 priority, with Denny Neagle another near the top of that list.
