I don't plan to do any more writing for that particular story until at least tomorrow, at the earliest. But in order to catch up with the story well enough in time, I strongly suspect that I might just have to write up each of the remaining chapters for it in about two or three weeks, at most, apiece. I want to get at least my relevant story's entire first draft done, somehow, if at all possible, by the time I turn fifty next February, for sure. If not at least two or three additional drafts of it sufficiently done for it by then, in any case, of course. Not going to be easy to do, I'm sure, but I often do relish great challenges, after all, you know, folks. CD out.

Looks like Jeddy Holmes has a good chance of being the Rookie of the Year in his subleague for the 1880 IPA season, somehow, I think. Just a thought here, that's all, of course, jg2977. CD out.

Check out my IPA thread now. I just finished the 1880 Pro Cup. Jeddy was the Pro Cup MVP, batting 13 for 32 for a .406 AVG, with 4 HR and 11 RBI in the series. Overall for the playoffs he was 31 for 82 for a .378 AVG, with 4 HR and 22 RBI. His OBP was .443, SLG .610, OPS 1.053, 185 OPS+ Last edited by jg2977; 07-31-2022 at 11:55 PM. |

I see those on the Freemans' side of things won a few awards as well, come to think of it. Hope you'll post the relevant awards cards for them as well, of course, jg2977. CD out.

Who do you think will ultimately have the better overall career between Henry Freeman and Jeddy Holmes, jg2977, seeing as they'll hopefully be each other's chief rival during their careers here in your IPA? Of course, I'm hoping HCF will have better average statistics by the time his career is done than Jeddy will by the time he's done, you know. CD out.

As far as Zebulon Morse and his potential chief rival Simon Clairborne, it's quite likely that most of Zebulon's career might have already happened before Simon ever starts to play in your IPA. But that doesn't necessarily mean, of course, that they can't be chief rivals to each other on the field or off it, I think. Does it, jg2977?
As for Jethro and Barrett, they'll be about three or four years apart in age, and likely chief rivals to each other, both on the field and off it. While Sugar Valley and Glasco may or may not actually be in the same subleague as each other, that doesn't necessarily mean that they can't be chief rivals to each other, in at least one area of their lives, I believe. As far as Kyle and Tanner go, even if they're at least seven years apart in age, I think they could still realistically be chief rivals to each other, both on the field and off it. And perhaps, if Hillsboro and Kenwood are able to make the playoffs any number of times at the same time or times, they could even meet in multiple postseasons, somehow. It would be rather interesting to see how they might fare against each other in their careers, if they ever played against each other, whether during the regular season or not, perhaps, jg2977. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm quite sure. Lord willing and all, of course, that is, as always, for that matter. CD out.

Looking forwards to seeing at least basic reports for Kenwood, Sugar Valley, and Turon starting from no later than the end of the 1881 IPA postseason up until it has been definitely decided whether or not Barrett Parverol and/or Simon Clairborne go to college somewhere. Tanner is planned to make his IPA debut with Kenwood out of the University of Virginia at Charlottesville in 1884 or 1885 at this point, I believe. So any reports related to Kenwood will likely have to continue until the end of the 1883 or 1884 IPA postseasons, it seems to me, until just before we add him to Kenwood here, jg2977.
Of course, seeing as Zebulon is likely locked up by Glasco for quite some time now, contract-wise, and not as likely to be traded and all, if I'm not too mistaken here, you will certainly keep me posted on Glasco's team status periodically, I'm sure, as his career continues. If I were Glasco, I'd currently seriously look towards trying to do something with Woolwine and/or Barnicle, at least, if not others as well, so that Glasco's middle infield performs better on the field, on average, on both sides of things here. Even if that means either or both of them, at least, have to leave Glasco for other teams, you know, jg2977. We need to clear at least one good spot somewhere for Jethro to play on the field for Glasco, after all. CD out.

Please don't forget to try and post all of the required 1881 baseball cards for all four of the currently-relevant IPA players here, whether they're from before the awards are given out or not, as well, jg2977. I happened to also see you're already to the 1881 postseason for your IPA, after all. Thank you. CD out.

May I please see all of the relevant awards-related cards for Henry Clarence Freeman, Zebulon Morse, and Kyle Walton from the 1880 IPA season as well, perhaps? You didn't actually post them either here or in your thread at the time those awards were shown in your thread, it seems to me here, jg2977. Thank you. CD out.

They're the same cards, they just happen to say MVP and Rooke of the Year on them. Kind of redundant. I've been really busy the past few days, I'll try to do it but if I can't please bear with me.

Then take whatever time you think you need and all, jg2977. No hurry, of course. Looking forwards to start seeing the needed team reports for all relevant teams by the end of the 1881 IPA postseason, for sure, especially ones for Glasco, Kenwood, Sugar Valley, and Turon. Not so much for South Fork and Denton City and Hillsboro, seeing as I don't expect to create any more players for them during the current IPA generation here, unless they periodically make the postseason, mind you. But at least the first four teams I just mentioned here, if not others as well. Thank you. CD out.

A few of them got Gold Gloves/Silver Sluggers in 1880, or the IPA equivalents of the same, at least, too, I think. Right, jg2977? CD out.
