Long understood, the Blue Jays were officially eliminated from the playoffs today. That breaks a streak of six straight years in the post-season.

Claudio Luna, the Manager of the Woodstock Stingrays, has decided to retire.

Luna Managed the Saint-Hyacinthe Villains in 1987 and 1988, where he was moved to the Lethbridge Guerrillas until 1989 and was sent to Woodstock.

At 62 years old, he clearly did not like the direction his career was going.

The Rangers came looking to move Rance Mulliniks. He isn't amazing but the price was right and we have some infield weaknesses.

WAIVER TRADE

To RANGERS

Jose Rico
Felix Jose
Doug Snell

To BLUE JAYS

Rance Mulliniks (TEX retains 25 % of contract)
Joseph Craig
Roman Broucek
Henry Carey
Ken Carnes

Terry Kennedy announced his retirement.

He was originally drafted by the Braves in 1977. He played with Atlanta from 1978 to 1981 when he was traded to the Yankees for Bucky Dent.
He stayed with New York until 1983 when he was traded again, this time to the Rangers.
He stayed with Texas until 1987 when he was traded to the Blue Jays, He stayed there for only five months before they traded him to the Expos.
During the 1988 season, he was released by the Expos and Toronto re-signed him to a minor league contract.
He was unable to work his way back to the majors and decided to hang them up.
His best season was 1982 with the Yankees. He was named to the All Star Team that year.
