Syrups are 3rd worst team in the league, but those rare days when they show up to play and win, they're goin' all out
![]() second 28+ run game this season.... already made 20K points this season... not a bad run for a bottom feeder note to management: the offense appears to be just fine.... get yourself some improvements in pitching ![]() |

Stars Hang In There in OL G329
Shinbone cruised along at 6-3 to hold on to the lead in the four way chase for the crown. Flatbush, 8-3, crept a little closer, while Hidden Valley, 7-4, and El Dorado, 6-4, kept their hopes alive.

Haymaker Still Bringing the Heat in S316
Hooterville remained on fire, going 14-6, yet their chasers still kept them from running away, with Krikkit, 4-2, taking over second, and Hartford, 10-2, setting a torrid pace.

Diamond League update:
Laramie drops a couple games but still remains with a solid lead. Waffletown appears to be stuck in some sticky substance in the basement ![]() |

Acting from a position of power in the pitching staff, the Brooklyn Dynasty sold peak Corey Kluber for 55k, and added SE Billy Hamilton for 50k. This makes 94 Richie Ashburn expendable, and as such has been listed for 45k (would be willing to sell to an OL team for 40k). The idea being that when sold, the team will either add a bullpen piece or add a replacement for Cy Seymour, whose low avoid K's is catching up to him now. Until Ashburn sells, Brooklyn will be playing a man down as I can't be bothered to call up a silver player to fill a roster spot.
Now is a good time to pick up those new SE's outright if you have the points, they're in abundance and the outfielders in particular are falling below 50k. Both Hamilton and Guerrero look like excellent pieces for OL teams.

I think I have Otonokizaka in Bronze, so yeah I'll throw something together for end of play tonight.

Shinbone Creeps Closer to Cown in OL G329
The Stars won four-of-five to again put a little more distance between themselves and the pack and may be very tough to catch. Flatbush certainly cannot afford another month of 5-4 ball, nor is Hidden Valley going to succeed, even at their two-of-three pace, without a Stars collapse. Given Shinbone's consistent performance in their wire-to-wire run so far, the fault, dear Brutus, is in their underlings.

Four Team Free for All in OL S316
It will come down to who can tough it out during the stretch run, as Hooterville, Krikkit, Cidudad Trujillo, and, to a lesser extant, Hartford have a clear path to the crown.

Diamond League update:
Laramie made the most of their schedule, and with no OL game left for them, it's a done deal that they will take the OL Diamond crown. Waffletown and Cary both in the relegation zone, with Kansas sitting a half game outside it |

OL Dominates Iron; K-Town Takes Title
With no more OL play in OL I162, K-Town has been declared the champs. Ending OL play with 13 straight OL games, the red-hot Rock Piles dropped only two games in that stretch to capture the flag.
Overall, the five-team OL contingent has dominated the league. All five teams are in line to be promoted. Even though K-Town and Vlora are currently top of the heap, the three other teams are in good position to make a run in the playoffs. Sierra Vista, which has underperformed by 11 games according to the Pyt, leads the league in pitching and is second in hitting, while all other OL teams lead their division. |

As promised, here are the bronze standings. These are accurate as of the 11:30 AM sim.
GAMES REMAINING Otonokizaka (6) - 3 @ Transylvania, 3 @ Daytona Beach Cochise County (0) Daytona Beach (10) - 3 vs Otonokizaka, 7 vs Transylvania (4 home, 3 away) Transylvania (10) - 3 vs Otonokizaka, 7 vs Daytona Beach (3 home, 4 away) Fort Huachuca (3) - 3 vs Blitzkrieg Blitzkrieg (3) - 3 @ Fort Huachuca Cochise County will have to wait and see if Transylvania, Daytona Beach, and Otonokizaka take each other out, which would allow them to back into the crown. As far as non-OL play goes... - Cochise County is last in AC East at 67-70, 10.5 behind non-OL Delco Phightins (77-59). - Blitzkrieg (73-64) leads the AC Central by 1.5 over Fort Huachuca (71-65) and non-OL Stilwater - Transylvania (76-60) leads NC East by 6.5 over Otonokizaka (70-67). Dayton Beach 10 behind at 66-70 - AC Wildcard race is a cluster<beep>. 4 teams tied for it, and Cochise County is lurking 4.5 back. - NC Wildcard is also a cluster<beep>. 3 teams, including Otonokizaka, tied for 2nd WC. Daytona Beach in the hunt 3.5 back. In a league as close as this has been, teams like Otonokizaka, Cochise County, and Daytona Beach, while still in the wildcard discussion, are not out of the relegation discussion yet. Cochise County and Daytona Beach are the closest to the drop, but a bad run today could bring Otonokizaka and even Fort Huachuca into the drop discussion. Lots to play for today. Let's have at it. NOTE: If I messed up the math here, don't worry about it. The final product, whether it be late tonight or tomorrow, will be correct.

Let's go up to the minute in B296...
Daytona Beach: 19-15 (.558) Cochise County: 14-12 (.538) Transylvania: 18-17 (.514) Otonokizaka: 22-22 (.500) Blitzkrieg: 12-13 (.480) Fort Huachuca: 10-16 (.384) GAMES REMAINING Daytona Beach: 7 vs Transylvania (4 home, 3 away) Cochise County: 0 Transylvania: 7 vs Daytona Beach (3 home, 4 away) Otonokizaka: 0 Blitzkrieg: 0 Fort Huachuca: 0 It's going to come down to Daytona Beach and Transylvania after both did their parts to knock Otonokizaka out of the running. However, there is one scenario where Cochise County steals the crown, and it requires Transylvania to take 4 out of 7 from Daytona Beach. Anything else, and it goes to either Daytona Beach or Transylvania. As far as non-OL play goes, let's update that too... AC East: Cochise County (72-77) are out of the division race. AC Central: Blitzkrieg (82-67) have pushed ahead by 2 games over non-OL Stilwater Black Wave (incidentally, also a Magus team). Fort Huachuca (73-76) are out of the running. AC West: No OL representation AC Wildcard: If Blitzkrieg needs the wildcard to get in, they should be in good shape for it. Otherwise, both Fort Huachuca and Cochise County would need a miracle to even inject themselves back in the race at this late stage. NC East: Transylvania (83-65) hold a 7.5 game lead over Daytona Beach (76-73). Their 7 games against each other still loom large as this one is still too early to call. Otonokizaka (75-75) have faded badly and are out of contention here. NC Central: No OL representation. NC West: No OL representation. NC Wildcard: Daytona Beach holds the second wildcard, but this could change due to the 7 games they have with Transylvania. Otonokizaka are 1.5 back of WC2, but will need to wake up quickly if they want to stay in the race.

With 1 game remaining in B296 and having taken 4 of the first 6 from the Transylvania Impalers, the Daytona Beach Tortugas have clinched the crown.
No OL teams will be relegated, but there is still stuff to be decided at the business end of the table. Blitzkrieg and Stilwater are tied for the AC Central lead going into game 162. Blitzkrieg will either be AC Central champions, or will be WC1. Transylvania have clinched the NC East, while Daytona Beach can still make the playoffs as WC2, as they are in a neck and neck race with non-OL Rudford's Very Handsome Boys. Otonokizaka, Cochise County, and Fort Huachuca (all 81-80) will all return to bronze for sure. Full final standings tomorrow.

Shinbone Coasts to Crown in OL G329
The Stars shone brightest, and, without an OL game scheduled for the final month, took home the hardware without breaking a sweat. The playoff positions and relegation are posted.

Hooterville Hold On to Win OL S316
The Hooters had a 5-4 final month, but it was enough to maintain their top spot, as Krikkit dropped three straight, and no one else stepped up to challenge. The playoff and relegation are attached.
