I have no need to chill. I am not worked up or upset at all about the post I moved, nor was I angry when I posted the follow-up response to Cusick's post. I certainly do not need 19 exclamation points to encourage me to calm down.

Nobody is the "GOAT" here. I did exactly what I promised I would do in my post a few days ago. There was a misplaced post that belongs in the General Baseball Discussion thread. I moved that post to the thread in which it belongs. No judgment, no penalty, simply one post moved from one thread to another.

If and when additional inappropriate posts appear in this thread, they will be dealt with in exactly the same way I moved the Amaro post: without fanfare or judgment, simply placing them in the appropriate location.

I don't talk about my "real" life here but since you asked where I've been, I'll tell you. I run a free clinic for low-income residents in my very rural community. My clinic has been overrun with patients of late; people who cannot find or afford health care. For seven days a week I work with people whose health, and in some cases lives, depend on accessing care at my clinic. My patients deal with food and housing insecurity every day. They wonder where they will sleep and where their next meal will come from.

Where have I been? I have been trying to recruit more doctors, dentists and counselors to volunteer in my clinic in order to address the growing need in my community. I have been looking for grants and donations to keep my clinic operating and, if possible, expand to meet the demand for services. I have been trying to find permanent or semi-permanent housing for patients whose health will not improve until they have a warm, dry place to sleep. In short, I have been and will continue to deal with issues and solve problems much more important and, in the long run, far more meaningful than the petty squabbles, snipping and perceived slights on the forum of late.

While I continue to check in here as often as I can, this is a hobby, a pastime. No lives hang in the balance, no major problems will be solved by our activity here. I choose to spend the bulk of my time doing something that makes a real and measurable difference in people's lives.

I struggle to understand the growing animosity on the forum. We are here to share, discuss and enjoy baseball photos. Again, I would encourage everyone to take a deep breath, relax and enjoy the images shared. This is a place to share and collaborate, not excoriate and confront.

My request has to do with the teams he played for a he end of his career. There are abundant photos of Simmons from his Phillies and Cardinals days, but does anyone have photos to post of a late career Simmons as a Cub or Angel (1966-1967)?
I'm Not sure if this type of request belongs here or in the newly-created thread.....Please advise.
This post falls under the category of what I have called "age studies," and as such belongs in the General Baseball Image Discussion thread, where I have moved it.

The easiest way I can describe the post guidelines for what goes here vs. what goes in the new thread is thus:

Posts related to the Facepack, Pegasus27 Batters Pack or Pitchers Pack, the Missing Player List, the UIN (Uniforms I Need) list, and new or upgraded player/team images from before 1925 (which is the start of the UIN list) belong here. Topps Vault listings which relate to the Facepack or Pegasus packs belong here as well.

All other posts related to baseball news or baseball images belong in the new thread.

This is a larger version of the image posted by Sir Lurksalot here in 2012 (at least I think its larger). The stand alone is 150% of original size.

Found it on Pinterest, but the source is the Boston Public Library, apparently. The full shot (L to R) features Dusty Cooke, Doc Farrell, Gordon Rhodes, Babe Ruth, Hank Johnson, George Pipgras, and Bill Werber (former Yankees teammates of the Babe).

It's not from a game since the stands are nearly empty, so was this just a photo opp. or was this taken at a practice. Why is The Babe wearing a uniform that reads "Braves" across the chest while the other players' uniforms all read 'Boston'?

Seriously? I mean, it's not rocket surgery or nuthin'. It's 1935--the only year Babe played with the Braves (who, at that time, played in Boston) and (I think) the only year Doc was with the Sox. Think exhibition. The Mets and Yankees used to have the Mayor's Trophy Game every year (usually played in season). The Boston Braves and Boston Red Sox also used to have an annual showdown, though theirs was held at the tail end of spring training at alternating Boston fields (in this case, Braves field). This was probably taken early in the day. I've seen other images from the game, itself, where there are more people in the stands (though attendance for these exhibitions--especially in the cold of April in Boston--was rarely capacity).

And, as a reminder, I noted that these Boston players (Red Sox all) had previously been Yankee teammates of the Babe, so the photographer obviously thought that was a shot he could sell....to somebody, I'm sure.

Ed Corey 1918

Though he didn't play for the 1919 White Sox, he was pictured in this team composite.

Though he didn't make the 1919 White Sox roster, Lees was pictured in this team composite. I'm assuming he's wearing a catcher's helmet in this picture...
