Maybe, though, I might have at least one other potential team and/or league configuration more to your liking listed in my team listing files, if not more than one. Depending on whether or not you might want to start MLB with 32 teams or more than 32 teams, of course, that is, jg2977.
For instance, this is a proposed configuration for my Diamond Dynasty 001 dynasty, whether it's that way currently or not for said dynasty, as of my last playing of it I don't know how long ago: American League East: Boston Red Sox Brooklyn Dodgers Cincinnati Reds New York Yankees Philadelphia Athletics Pittsburgh Pirates American League North: Chicago White Sox Cleveland Indians Detroit Tigers Milwaukee Brewers Minnesota Twins Toronto Blue Jays American League South: Baltimore Orioles Carolina Pilots Memphis Blues New Orleans Pelicans St. Louis Browns Washington Senators American League West: Las Vegas Aces Mexico City Jaguars Oakland Oaks Oklahoma Outlaws Portland Beavers Vancouver Grizzlies National League East: Boston Braves Buffalo Lakers Havana Sugar Kings New York Mets San Juan Storm Virginia Fury National League North: Chicago Cubs Green Bay Loggers Kansas City Royals Montreal Expos Ottawa Capitals St. Louis Cardinals National League South: Atlanta Thrashers Florida Marlins Houston Astros Kingston Hummers Tampa Bay Devil Rays Texas Rangers National League West: Arizona Diamondbacks California Angels Colorado Rockies San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants Seattle Mariners It mixes a lot of things up, but still keeps a lot of the same rivalries, to be sure. Plus it adds more teams in certain locations that normally wouldn't likely get MLB teams, especially outside of the United States and Canada. Of course, it might be a little tricky in certain ways here, but it still meets a lot, if not all, of your apparently-desired criteria here. And with that now said here, I'll basically close this post here, more or less. Thank you for your time and all here, then. Feel quite free to let me know just what you think of that proposed configuration, if and when you like and can, jg2977. CD out.

Am now working on some potential items for the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers high school baseball team in Wisconsin. It might be a bit difficult to match their real-world items here, of course, but I'll still try and see what I can do. At the very least, I'm certainly going to try to put my own personal take on them, no matter how close I might just get to the real-world items for them here, to be sure. They'll probably take some time and effort and all to do them well, in any case, I think, though. CD out.

After that, I'll probably try and tackle the Edgewood Crusaders and several other high school teams from Wisconsin, seeing as nobody's likely done them yet, at least. Lawn Loaf last left off with his high school and college thread while he'd still been working with Minnesota schools in it, it seems to me.
As that is the case, I'll probably try to fill in the gaps with certain schools from Minnesota and other states that may not yet have items done for them here on the forums, as best and as quickly as I can. Although they'll only be done in pre-23 style for sure, and I may have to scrounge a good deal for certain schools' various related logos and all, as well, folks, just so you know. Some real-world high schools might not actually have or have previously had baseball and/or softball teams, in reality, but perhaps I can still somehow create halfway decent items similar to the ones they might use for other sports teams at them, I think. At least I hope so, anyway, that is. CD out.

jg2977, looks like the recaps mentioning Garber and Jethro Morse were a bit off, seeing as they're both two-way players, at least one game apiece of the games you just posted the box scores for, in your IPA thread. Looks like the game didn't know how to deal with the fact that they weren't pitching in those games, because of that fact. I know you don't edit recaps, for various reasons, but it's still just something that is at least a little bit annoying when the game writes up inaccurate recaps, for sure. You're not at all responsible for that, of course, for you just play out or simulate the games in question.
I'm now starting to wonder just when the last time someone around here or with OOTP really worked on how the game typically produces game recaps was. Most players, I'm sure, don't really have much time to edit recaps at present in their lives, for various reasons. But I'm still sure that the standard recaps could probably be better improved later on, or the various reports that periodically come along during a typical game, in terms of email types. Hopefully OOTP or some people around these forums can eventually improve them for current and/or future versions of the game. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to do so myself here, at least generally speaking, for I don't really know how to write XML or do certain other computer-related things very well, if at all. So who do you think is going to come out of the current round of your IPA playoffs here, perhaps, and move on? Just curious, jg2977. CD out.

All of the favorites are up 3 games to 1. So it's likely that in the Union Title Series, Colfax will face Glasco, and Kenwood will face South Fork. |

The game recaps have been poorly done ever since they debuted.
I used to ask them to improve them... I even offered to be on the Beta Team and help compose them... they never replied. They are poorly written... and do not give an accurate recap of the game... the Player of the Game is often wrong. That is why I write my own recaps for the Islandian Pro Alliance playoffs... and all of the recaps for my South Island League games. New stories and recaps are not that important to the OOTP Development Team... never has been... and probably never will be... and I can understand this philosophy... if it is not improving the profitability of game, then they shouldn't waste time on improving the recaps. You spend time on what increases sales. |

When do you plan to perhaps add some version of MLB to your current IPA game, jg2977? I'm just curious here, you see, that's all. CD out.

Not for at least another 15 seasons. However, I won't be using any of your recommendations. I have my own plans that will keep me satisfied.

Very well, do as you wish, of course. They're just suggestions, that's all, as I said earlier, you know, jg2977. CD out.

As for Zeb Morse, maybe he can come back for at least one last year with Glasco at the end of his current contract, or after his current contract is over, supposing Jethro is still there, of course, just like Pujols. But we'll have to see what happens with him, you know, for sure, in any case. CD out.

Perhaps he will. However, I'm letting the AI handle it, as I want to interfere very minimally with the natural progression of my league.
Many times in my old IPA the winners seemed predetermined due to me influencing who wound up on what teams, and it took away all of the drama. I enjoy being surprised by a team coming out of nowhere to win a title, like Chicopee and Hartsdale did recently, or teams establishing mini-dynasties, like Colfax. That's really what makes the game fun for me. Last edited by jg2977; 08-29-2022 at 09:38 AM. |

I like my division winners winning 90 to 100 game each year... my all-time record is 111 victories... this is similar to MLB... most seasons only one team will reach 100 wins... every few decades I will have 3 teams over the 100-win mark... 2075 is one of those years. My league stats stay pretty consistent all the time. |

EC, where are my Freemans now in both your current main dynasties? Just curious, that's all. CD out.

Arthyr Freeman is still on the active roster in the IPA... he just finished his 4th season with the Hillsboro Blazers... he is a good glove at shortstop, but not much of a hitter... Gordon Freeman is on the Far Mountain Redhawks' reserve roster...he is an average pitcher and fair first baseman and outfielder... I noticed he was on the active roster for about a month early in the 2075 season... but then he was sent down to the reserve roster. I will post their stats for 2075 here in your thread within a week or so. Last edited by Eugene Church; 08-29-2022 at 09:29 PM. |

Okay, what about the recreational leagues, then, EC? Please let me know, if and when you like and can. Thank you. CD out.

Okay, both of the Freemans hadn't been mentioned in direct relation to the recreational leagues as far as I'd yet seen at the time of my last post, it seems to me. But they both had been in direct relation to the IPA, for sure, at least, EC. Guess you were still editing the previous post as I was yet in the process of either posting or writing that post of mine I just mentioned here, somehow, then. CD out.

Think I may have to set aside more work on Cambria-Friesland for a while, perhaps. I don't know how soon I might be able to find some good enough pictures of their real-world items, if I haven't already done so yet, unfortunately. So I'll probably try doing items for certain other teams for a while longer, whether they were or are or will be real-world teams or not, in the meantime.
There are still a rather good number of my fictional teams that I've done uniforms for which still lack caps and/or logos, no doubt. Plus certain takes on real-world teams that I've already done uniform versions for, but no caps and/or logos for yet, as well. As for certain real teams I've recently been able to at least find potential or actual logos for, the Edgewood Crusaders from Wisconsin might be next among certain high school teams I might do items for later on, at least, but we'll all have to see if that actually is the case for me here, of course. CD out.
