Players of recent vintage (such as Chacon) can usually be found in good numbers at Getty (both posed and action) and Zimbio. A Google search also turns up several. The attached is from Zimbio.

Yeah, I usually do a pretty hefty Google search. Must have forgotten to look for Chacon, as there are more images turning up than I remember.

Hey all, after a search of various sites including this one, I was hoping that someone (Merkle perhaps) might have a color photo of Julio Franco suiting up for the team that he made his debut with in 1982 - the Phillies. The Donruss card is nice as I was hoping for another image. Thanks!

Having made almost no impression in the Phillies system or with the Mets (although he was mocked with various nicknames for wearing his hair long - at least long for 1965), Gary Kroll was traded to Houston in 1966 for original Colt 45 Johnny Weekly. His ten relief appearances were the closest thing to a successful stop in his four-year, three-team career.

The first shot is from 'the' collection, Kroll in Spring Training 1965 with the Mets, and the second, a J.D. McCarthy image of Kroll taken in spring training in March, 1966 (check out the star on the sock!)

I use Paint and simply downsize. This one could easily be 50 percent smaller.

Here's a rare Gehrig photo with the 1923 Hartford Senators. It comes from a Leland's Auction. According to the auction write-up, Gehrig played only a dozen games at Hartford. Baseball-reference.com, however, indicates that Lou was in 59 games, slugging 24 homers and batting .304.
