Since all OL teams are in the same "subleague" , all teams will easily have the minimum required games this season. OL standings mid-season are:

Cary Southpaws: 6-4
Nowhere Men: 7-5
Annandale Atom Smashers: 7-6
Silly Mad Brewers: 2-7

It's a Magus curse I tell you. 2nd best team in the league record-wise, and right now we have to be a wildcard team because only a brick wall could stop us, and that brick wall just happens to be coming fast and in our division.

Anyway, who else has made bank from cashing in on the select collections? Since you can't use them for OL, it's either tournaments or sell. On Brooklyn, I made back all the points I blew on packs last night, and still have nearly 200k in stuff on the AH waiting for new homes. Now in really good position for the final SD Franchise Hero mission, since that's the only one I've done to completion so far as I'm expecting an unstoppable Tony Gwynn at the end of the rainbow.

I am not sure if anyone besides me had a early Christmas from all of the completed missions I received from Kris's stream, last night.


I had so many that I kept loosing count however, I think I had at least 45-50 completed in one night!


Boy, was that a well needed shot in the arm.


Less than a week ago I ended up opening 190+ packs in one sitting.


I received two Live 99, two Live 98, and two Live 97 rated cards.


The highest OL rated player card was a lousy 86!


So the pack luck was still not good until last night.


Last night I was finally able to close out several mission in which I was one card short and had been sitting on for several months!


I was able to pick up the 100 SE Carlton Fisk which I had hoped to be able to get at some point, and from a foil pack I was able to land 100 Whitey Ford.


It would be great to see more shows that like, more often especially when the drop packs are Silver!


I now have several reward "Select" reward cards including Tatis Jr. Does anyone know if those will be part of future missions or since they are not OL usable, I should unload them?

I don't expect the selects to be in missions. Unless we're gonna see a Team of the Year/Season thing that may need them, but I think since we got selects, I'm not convinced we're getting TOTY/S.

Personally, I'm cashing in on all of them except Burnes and Buehler. May try them in tournaments, or may even go into the wild for a few weeks and see if they can be viable in my bullpen.

Now that would be a true Magus curse. That would be enough for me to say I'm done and actually mean it. I committed to the White Sox last year for Face of the Franchise in the hopes of an OP pitcher that I could sell for a ton, only to be whamboozled by an unusable Frank Thomas. If I end up failing again, then I'll know I'm really f'ing cursed.

Ok, here are the standings currently. There are only six OL games yet to be played --- all of which are Nowhere @ Annandale.

Cary Southpaws: 14-5
Annandale Atom Smashers: 13-14
Nowhere Men: 11-14
Silly Mad Brewers: 7-12

At this point, the OL champion is already decided: even if Annandale wins all of its remaining games with Nowhere, they still can't catch Cary. I will report final standings on Sunday, though.

Currently, Cary is the only team in current playoff position (as a Wild Card) but that could change if Annandale or Nowhere goes on a hot streak or Cary gets cold, which they often do. Silly Mad is currently just out of relegation position.

Knockemstiff (11-5) made up some ground on Lemp Ave. (5-4). Both the leaders have 23 games remaining and play each other 6 times. Can't really say fairer than that!

Heading into turn for home, the Lake Monsters (or is it the Ostego Lake Monsters) continue to lead the chase for the bronze crown. All the contenders, save Lumberton, who have just three games left, will have at least 9 games left to play. In a classic PT scheduling quirk, all nine of Otsego's games are against San Francisco. No team is in danger of relegation.

Congratulations to the New York Patriots, champs of OL S346. With only 3 OL games remaining, the Patriots dominated league play, with Cleveland coming up short.

Outside of the OL, the Patriots are in a pitched battle for first in the NC West. Only Las Vegas is headed for relegation.

Won't be representing OL in the silver PTCS. Just means there's more profit to be had by selling off all my silvers that aren't in selects. (I'll end up packing them again through drops)

Wasn't expecting anything anyway because I've been in such a tournament megaslump since the bronze PTCS finals that I pretty much gave up on tournaments entirely. Now I'm just entering opens with card restrictions, like the unsung heroes event.

A calm Magus that's accepting failure by selling everything silver-related off instead of complaining? Who am I and where is the real Magus?

Both of the frontrunners almost doubled their losses in the final month, but Knockemstiff's collapse was quite spectacular. Seattle were responsible for much of the hurt!

Looks like Brooklyn go into the playoffs as the hottest OL team, and we have a chance at a 4-way SLS, though I'm predicting an early exit for the Shiners...

Of the 14 OL teams, 13 survived, with South Holland just 3 games from safety.

As previously reported, New York captures the OL S346 title. The Patriots, Left Coast, Keystone, and Gear Terrace are in the playoffs. Las Vegas is relegated, with Bluffton barely missing the same fate.
