Topps Vault Folder AC
I got the listings of the names for Folder AC from Chop Country. I noticed Steve Barber listed as # AC 296 - AC 343. However looking through the images I noticed the numbers only go from 296 through 302 and then 343. Am I missing the images for 303 through 342? Thank you for your help!

Bunk Congalton 1902
Here's a nice and clear image of Congalton as a member of the 1904 Colorado Springs team.

Ed McDonald 1911
McDonald was the regular Boston Braves 3rd baseman in 1911 and 1912. This picture comes from the 7/31/1911 edition of The Buffalo News

Dave Kingman 1971
Remember when an image of him with the Yankees was a great white whale?
Not only did these images from Tiger Stadium turn up, but based on who's catching (Milt May)they're certainly from September 17, 1977 - the start of Kingman's eight-game career with New York. Last edited by Merkle923; 04-23-2018 at 10:32 PM. |

Again, once upon a time, images from his pennant race pick-up by the '67 White Sox were scarce.
We add an unknown Boston-based photographer's shot to the '68 Dexter I previously posted and removed. Last edited by Merkle923; 04-23-2018 at 10:32 PM. |

George Scott 1966
Also by request.
Another one I took myself, also in September '79. I swear, I kept track of Boomer for 20 minutes during batting practice. He never picked up a bat nor put on that glove, and he never stopped doing that most traditional of baseball activities: holding the styrofoam cup of coffee. Jim Nettles 1970
Also by request. Another pair I took (and the same day as the Scott shot, above).
Not sure how that outline occurred around his cap but it doesn't actually diminish the image. The second one, of course, shows him visiting with his old brother Graig - a reunion made understandable after Jim Nettles had been out of the majors for nearly five years. Nobody asked, but since the original J.D. McCarthy was in my collection and was so much clearer, here it is. As mentioned previously, in camp with the '63 Mets, three years after what proved to be his final big league appearance.

Interesting stuff as always, Merkle! I especially enjoy seeing the early Blue Jays players. I would love to see photos of Doug Ault, Jerry Garvin, Joe Cannon, and Dave McKay in Blue Jays garb if you have them handy.

Topps Vault Folder BJ
I got the names for Folder BJ from Chop Country. I have two images not on the list at Chop Country. Number BJ 706 and BJ 707. Both are Cubs players. The first a batter and the second looks like a pitcher. Does anyone else have these two images and can you help me identify them. Thank you in advance. (5¢ a pack - luvbblogos).

The candid shot is mine, from Yankee Stadium in the spring of '78. I believe the action is from Oakland, '78 or '79, and came as part of a huge lot of strip negatives - photographer unknown.
