Rick Reichardt Chisox # 48, 1971 - 1973 !
Web search for Reichardt shows him in Chicago uniform on Pinterest and on a website depicting him in a homemade 1973 Topps card. Same photo.(5¢ a pack - luvbblogos).

That custom card started the debate.

At this point I'm convinced its not Reichardt. Could be a few Sox players but I'm leaning on Pete Varney. Thanks all!

I have no idea on how to post images but if you go to eBay you'll find convincing proof that you've nailed it. 'beltin14' on eBay has good color shots of both Varney and Johnson. 'wwwprpsportscom' on eBay has a black & white of Varney which hits the nail on the head. (5¢ a pack - luvbblogos).

This is the first reasonably good image I've come across that depicts Zardon in his Senators uniform, courtesy of afox110-auctions on ebay. Unfortunately the image features heavy watermarks, but here it is if anybody needs it.

Wiman Andrus 1885
I haven't seen a lot of photos showing this one-game major leaguer of the 19th century. William Wiman "Wyman" Andrus played third base for the Providence Grays of the National League in 1885.

This photo appeared in the SABR BioProject biography of Andrus, written by Skylar Browning and Jeremy Watterson.
