Yes, it looks like Silver is the place to be if your roster is not 100% of SE or POTM or FOTF cards.
I'm glad to see Stl Jason had some pack luck. Late last night, I opened 25 Drop packs from watching shows and the only "good" "keeper" card for me was a 90 Diamond. I pulled two other Live Diamonds and both cards I had already acquired 3-4 different times this PT21 season! And of course their value was only worth 4,000pp a piece. My pack luck has never been good however, it has been ice cold for over the last month! I too, have been back and forth about PT22. I am 100% sure I will get OOTP22 and I will for sure play PT22 however, I may just do an all Silver and lower team as I really enjoy playing with these type of player cards, especially since I normally have lousy pack luck. Currently, I really look forward to Monday mornings to see which OL teams I will be battling against for the week. Yes, PT21 is a whole different beast, when compared to PT19 and PT20 and can become frustrating. At times it plays out with problem solving. Sometimes you get it right and most of the time, you get it wrong! ![]() Needless to say, OL has keep me playing PT21 this long; without it, I would have thrown in the towel long ago. So thank you to all of you for helping make playing OL so fun! If anyone has suggestions on how to make Season 4 of Our League, even better, please feel to post it here or email or PM me. I think it's really up to what features are added to PT 22 that will go a way towards making OL even better. If by some hope we get the ability to come out of the pyramid system entirely and play exclusively with friends, that would be MASSIVE (you could still be heavily into tournaments, you'd just be staying exclusive to all your friends for the weekly league formats). However, we'd have to limit users to maybe 1 OL team to accommodate that.
Not betting on that feature becoming a reality though, so really the only way forward is to find more ways to combat the feeling of stagnance. People give up when they feel they're constantly spinning their tires in the mud with no hope of ever pushing forward (or backward to be able to be more competitive at a lower level). for what it's worth, I'll be back for v22.... just gotta roll with the punches and see what new tweaks are added to continue to improve things. I figure at worst I spend a decent amount of time to start with PT, as it's easier to afford upgrades early on... once it settles in to requiring large amount of points per upgrade, I'll just default back to checking in less frequently to allow points to build up... if the OL crowd is back, I'm sure the Syrups will be in the mix.... if not, my teams will either wander the wilds or hook up with some other group to keep it interesting.
lately I've been spending more time in the solo side getting my Beer league going (will kick off the season 3 playoffs tonight), so gotta keep them brewing into v22 as well ![]() |

The Aztecs have plenty of competition as they break out first.

Aztecs Hold on in OL S280
El Dorado clung to a small lead, but with half the teams at .500 or better, the race should be hotly contested.

Bronze
Worth noting that Adion's two teams, Cochise County and Sierra Vista, though withdrawn from OL and PT in general, are still OL-compliant and would be killing the rest of the OL at this point.
As is, very lightly contested. |

The crowded leader board shuffled a bit as we head toward mid-season.

A tight 1-2 as Waffletown and Cary have nearly identical records (and they still have 16 games against each other, so could be a rout, or could beat each other up to the point that someone else sneaks in) |

Dynasty Hangs On in OL S280
The top quartet are locked in a tight race, with at least a couple of more squads within striking distance.

Pimp Ministers Move to Head of Tight Race in OL S280
With the Dynasty just .006 and the Stars a mere .016 in arrears, respectively, the chase is poised to go down to the wire. El Dorado and South Side are both north of .600 and could jump up with a hot September.
The Pimp Ministers would seem to have the easiest route, with nine games remaining, six against Transylvania, and three against Blitzkrieg, the two most prolific losers this season. The Dynasty also appear ready for a stroll down Easy St., as they have seven to play, with four against the Boppers, and a season-ending three game set in Transylvania. Shinbone has 19 to play and would probably need a near flawless record given the relative weakness of the Brooklyn teams' opponents. Last edited by Stanley Kuppchaser; 02-06-2021 at 09:34 AM. |

Waffletown sneaks by Cary to take the lead by a hair heading into the stretch run. (5 games between the two teams in September, so anyone's guess as who claims the OL crown) Overall, four OL teams in playoff contention. None in danger of relegation. |

K-Town Leading Bronze
K-Town continues the charge in OL B334. With Asheboro having completed its OL schedule, the Road Dogs will wait while K-Town finishes with series against Vlora and Death Valley.
Despite their success in OL, the Rock Piles and Road Dogs are only on the edge of the playoffs, each trying to secure a wild card spot. Ewa Beach and Vlora are leading their divisions. And three teams are solidly in relegation at the moment. |

Gold league:
Cary took care of business down the stretch to claim the OL crown (though for the "little victory" Waffletown went 10-9 against them for the year). Playoff overview... Southpaws were 22 games better than any other team in the league to nab the top seed. In the NC Central, Cuidad Trujillo, Flatbush, and Munuscong Bay all finished with identical 80-82 records atop the division. Flatbush emerged from the three-way playoff with 2 wins to claim the division title at 82-82. Waffletown will host Weston Pointe in the wildcard match (two 100+ win teams in the freakin' wildcard ![]() ![]() chance of two OL promotions to Diamond, guaranteed at least one. No relegations. my prediction: After a 105 win season but still finishing 26 games back of the division lead, Waffletown will choke in the wild card game and be one-and-done. |

The Dynasty won the clash of the Kings County contenders by sweeping Transylvania in the shadow of Vlad's castle.
