Appearing in the Vault Sunday 11/3/19 is Roger Freed during his spring in the Cleveland Indians camp after being traded for Del Unser. He spent all of 1973 with the Indians' Class AAA team in Oklahoma City, then was again traded to the Reds for Steve Blateric.

Baseball-Reference mistook the "Shafer" on the 1889 Detroit Wolverines. It is actually Orator Shafer, long-time player, made very clear in the Detroit Free Press newspapers at the time.

Has anyone encountered a photo of this left-hander during his stint with the Astros in 1974? All I've seen on Google are some minor league, Caribbean or winter league photos of poor quality.
De los Santos spent most of that season in Columbus (Class AA), but made his first MLB appearance on August 21st and worked in a dozen games between then and the end of the season (1-1, 2.19).
FYI, Ramon de los Santos later became a scout and in those circles is famous for finding and signing David Oritz.
