https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004...Baseball_draft None of these guys show up for 2004 Draft. Only real person that I see is Parra the OF. In General Histirical Draft Classes aren't together sane saw what happened in real life that year.

These 2004 players should not be in the 2014 draft.

I meant 2004 like Verlander and so on don't show up in Draft Pool. Also in like NBATK16 can Import a Draft Class file so in this Game to.
http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/draftday/y2004/search.jsp It shows all the guys Drafted in 2004 one thru round 50 and that's who should be in Pool among others who weren't Drafted. Also Historical College League that's afflinated with a Historical League and it would start in like the first year College Baseball started and then declare you Draft can happen so like Verlander if wanted to enter 2002 Draft could.

I donut know what happens when you do a June draft instead of December. Nothing good I assume. The draft is meant to be after the season so any team/league updates have happened.

What happens is Drafted Pool gets published in November and had like Mookie Betts and so on in June's Draft. Now in November or even at Winter Meetings Trades would happen in it.
If published in February no Historical guys,

I think I got a weird happening.
Started historical in 1989 with neut stats+all minors, when 1989 was done and dusted I found that Ben McDonald (1989 1st player drafted) had thrown in the towel (no injury) and retired from baseball end of june. He posted a 17 g in AAA, but heck how randomize is the game ? That was a shocking surprise. I looked at his neutralized stats as pitcher, NONE. Should he have something in Neut stats ? OK I didn't ticked retire as history, but this effect on a 21 year old pitcher was stunning. I guess one is almost forced to do that, OR ? Consider retire on history tick.... If a player moves from MLB to minor leagues to play out some 5-6 years is he now consider retired AFTER last MiLB season, or still as before after his last MLB season ?? |

Neutralized Stats and real minors do not work together. You are not even supposed to be able to choose that combination.

Still the retirement of Ben still a surprise, with or without that. Isn't it ?? What about historical retirement WITH minors. Does it work ?? |

I do not know. If you try/test this let us know the outcome.

I've searched as best I could and could not find an answer to this one. In starting a 1945 replay using historical transactions I noticed that players returning from military service on specific dates (as per the historical transactions log) are all available the entire season from Opening Day. I spot checked several other seasons and see the same thing, and yet players that were called up for active military duty depart as scheduled. Is this an issue or is it intentional?

Historical transactions are not compatible with real minor leagues.

I'm not using real minor leagues nor historical lineups, only historical transactions.

I understand what you're saying and appreciate it, but what I'm referencing are transactions that already appear within the game database. The game's historical transaction log contains the trades, signings, releases, and - in this case - the military call ups and returns. If the call ups are occurring correctly it mystifies me why the returns are not. Why can't they be coded the same as free agent signings or waiver picks, for example, since the information and dates are already incorporated?

Wrong references - Stan Gray, Sam Gray; Win Clark, Bill Clarkson
References for these four players are jumbled in game. Correct references shown below:
Stan Gray (graydo02, gray--001sta) Sam Gray (graysa01, gray--002sam) Win Clark (clarkbi01, clark-012wil) Bill Clarkson (clarkbi02, clarks001wil) |

There are two Scott Stricklands (early 00's Expos-Mets reliever). His historical/Lahman ID is stricsc02, which is weird because there's noone with ID stricsc01 (on baseball reference at least).
