A lot of the ads from from google photo search. Type in a company name or product name with the word advertisement and lots of stuff shows up. Also this site https://www.vintageadbrowser.com/ has ads. Occasionally I'll do a screen capture of a pause on a youtube video.

The game gave him good ratings vs LHP in the 60s, not as good later. That is a reverse of reality. Through 68 in the game he hit .273 vs LHP. Real life was only .200.

The ads often aren't plug and play. The first is the original of what ended up in post 323. Had I reduced it for the column of the "newspaper" the small type wouldn't have been readable. So I altered it while retaining the point made in the ad.

Some are just unusable. Clearly the 80s should have Walkman ads but I haven't found any Walkman ad I can use as found or alter to be usable.

The ads can be an interesting reminder of things often forgotten. Like the VCR technology wars, the short life of 8 tracks and then cassettes before CDs took over, and the photographic revolution of Fotomat.

Before I started this I knew about National Record Mart. We had them in Indy but I didn't know it started in Pittsburgh.
