On the manager thread, I've posted a photo of the two gents who served as co-managers when Bill Veeck pulled a stunt in 1951 of having the Browns fans make the managerial decisions in the ballgame. In my earlier post, I made the mistake of using the information in Gauthreaux's Facebook post without verifying it. Thanks, baseball-birthdays, for the uniform correction.

This photo does indeed show Meeker in a Cincinnati Reds' uniform. It's from the Dayton (OH) Daily News of September 5, 1926.

Here is another photo of Jack Damaska an infielder who appeared in 5 for the 1963 Cardinals. Before an after Damaska had a 17 year professional career beginning in 1957 and ending in AA in 1973 with the AA Quebec Carnavals where he went out hitting .295.
