Does anyone have an image of Maney in his brief time with the Tigers? It looks like Chickazoola once posted one but has since been removed.

I think this is the same image that Chickazoola posted of Maney on May 13, 2016 on this thread.

I initially thought Joe was of French ancestry, which would make it La-who, but it turns out that he may be Arab instead. In that case the D at the end may be sounded.

Facepack upgrade, pictured with Millikin (IL) University, where he was described as "one of the best players that ever wore a Millikin uniform," in 1914.

Facepack upgrade for Garrison, pictured during a game in August of 1996 for Oakland. The previously used image of Garrison depicted him in minor league attire.
On a side note, he apparently had a severe case of Covid-19 in March that nearly killed him. Fortunately he survived!

This photo shows him with the Boston N.L. team. It's from the Boston Globe of April 15, 1901.

Although Brown's few appearances in the majors were as an outfielder, he began the spring as a prospect at catcher. In the photo, he appeared with two other catchers as he entered the season under the expectation that he would be playing that position.

I noticed that the Topps Vault has taken down their shut down message and added a Garbage Pail Kids listing. Hopefully this is a sign that new MLB auctions are around the corner!
