4 OL teams could be coming down to Diamond from Perfect.

So us poor Diamond teams better move up otherwise we get knocked around by the ones coming back from Perfect :-) I am always amazed at some of the OL teams that have put together some terrific teams filled with Diamond cards. I think across all our OL teams here in the family we have maybe one Diamond card and that one was about 4500PP. Time to make a prayer & donation to the OOTP gods to get some luck from our challenge packs !!!

Very tough in perfect. So many guys I would like to use, but would I be able to win with them, that's the question. Just got 94 Biggio. Fun card. Let's see if he can produce.

Towers Still Stand Tall in OL S265
Chi-Town continues to set the pace, but Asheboro and Sanguine loom a bit larger in the rear view mirror.

Diamond league update:
Washington remains red hot and extends their lead in the OL standings. in the overall picture... Cincinnati holds a slim 1 game lead in the AC East, while Washington is building a seemingly insurmountable lead in the AC West (already 21 games over 2nd place Seattle). In the NC East, Transylvania is keeping pace with the division leader and hovers just 2 games back. In the NC Central, Roncalli has slipped back to 11.5 games off the lead. In the NC (wild) West, Green Lake holds the top spot in the division with an NC best 49-32 record, but must stay consistent as they try to hold off Cooper and Waffletown who sit just 0.5 and 4.5 games back respectively. Luckenbach is still looking to get on a winning streak, and with half the season remaining, there's still time to turn the season around. |

)of course, with the missions / reward cards, it's possible to pick up some nice cards for relatively cheap.... picked up my 97 ovr Lefty Gomez for under 5000 points from the cards needed to complete that mission..... |

(Camilo Pascual)
Ooh I hate you. I need him for my Senators team. Not that I could afford him (isn't he on the order of 24k?). Speaking of which, I found 2 more good cards that qualify for my Senators team: Harlond Clift and Ryne Duren. Clift is a 93 OVR but the hitting on the card looks pretty terrible. Looking at his real-life stats from that year, he had an OPS+ of 140 and hit .306. I doubt there's any way the card hits over .300. But hey, he can be a Senator! |

The 80's All-Stars will be rebranding at the end of the season. I'm thinking of team names as we speak. This rebranding was driven by the recent spending of profits from the sale of a 99 Tim Keefe pull.
I was thinking of calling the team the "Old Time Rock & Roll", but I'm open to suggestions.

How about "You Can't Tell Me What To Do, Old Man!"?

The maximum non-80's player limit has been lowered to 8 for now.

I don't care what you name the team, I just insist that Huey Lewis is somehow involved.
