Lindstrom has been especially frustrating as he was a prominent player for Worcester for several years but I haven't been able to find team photos for them.

I posted that here originally, it's from a 1982 Seattle Mariners team poster/photo. It's not much, but if you find anything better let me know.

Also, you seem to be doing 1982. I have almost everybody from that year so let me know if you hit any gaps.

The photo on the left is the image you already have, but perhaps of enhanced quality. It is from the 1930 Spalding Baseball Guide. Within that guide, Lindstrom appeared in the team photo of the Canton team of the Central League.

The photo on the right is the original used by Marc Okkonen for his book, 2000 CUPS OF COFFEE. It shows Lindstrom with the 1923 New Haven team of the Eastern League.

Some newspapers called this player Alex instead of Axel. Some used the nickname "Swede" for him.

Thanks - I am working my way through 1982, and I'll save up my needs and post them all at once in a couple weeks - I've made it through the AL and I only have 4 so far, so hopefully it won't be a lot.

Yes, you've hit most of the ALs I either can't find or can't find good shots of: Bahnsen, D. Brown, Musselman, Lewis. In the NL I am definitely still looking for Jerry Manuel with SD, can't think of any others at moment. A couple of shots for the NL '82s are pretty awful (Dan Boone with the Astros). I always try to get guys in the right year or within one year of and in the right uniform, and there are a number of guys in '82 I haven't been able to do that with yet, such as Tom Henke and Mike Mason with the Rangers. The Rangers changed their uniforms so often during the 80s that they drive me nuts trying to find people.

Possibly a Facepack upgrade, or at least a clearer, more identifiable image for ID files, as shown in the 1924 Durham Bulls team composite.

Unfortunately, the third major leaguer on the team, Bud Heine, for whom we likewise did not have a good image, was not included in the composite.

The photo on the left of Bud Heine is from the 1921 New York Giants' team photo as it appeared in the book JOHN MCGRAW, by Charles C. Alexander.

The photo on the right is obviously from the same team photo. It was stored on my computer, and I don't remember where I obtained it.

P.S. Photos have been changed to correct original mistake of picking out the wrong image from the 1921 team photo. I've also added applicable part of the caption from the JOHN MCGRAW book. The caption was identical for the team photo on my computer.

Thank you, tnfoto, for double-checking what I had posted. You are right that I had picked out the player next to Heine, i.e. R. Kelly. I have now corrected that mistake in the posting above.
