Jeff Tesreau
1913 NY Giants spitball pitcher applying moisture to the baseball. Cool photo considering what's going on today with foreign substances! ...from current RMY auction.

Would anyone have an image of Cuban pitcher Oscar Tuero as a St. Louis Cardinal (1918-20)?

Another example: UKBaseballfan posted this image of Al Schellhase back in 2009. I just ran across a colorized version of the full team photo here. Schellhase is in the middle of the front row. I cropped his section and ran it through Remini and got this. There's some funkiness on the chin and neck and it didn't do well on the laces but considering the amount of upscaling, I thought it was pretty impressive. |

I have noticed that it works much better on larger images...the larger the better. This selection for Schellhase might offer even better results.

That looks great to me. I'll have to look into that product.

Oscar Tuero 1918
This is all I have of Tuero during his St. Louis tenure, pictured during Spring Training in 1919.

Tom Poorman 1880
Going through some old requests, here's Poorman with the 1886 Boston team.

Here's a clearer (and larger) version of the Gunning with the Red Sox.

Irv Hach 1897
Here's a Facepack option for Hach that comes from his playing days with Louisville in July of 1897. The previous image of him is from the 1930s. Image was printed in the July 3, 1897 edition of the Courier-Journal.
If you are curious how difficult it is to comb through newspapers for these players, know that he preferred to be called "Major" and the papers of the day decided to print his last name as "Hock." So simply searching for "Irv Hach" would not turn much up. |

Frank Cross 1901
Stumbled across this image of Salem baseball team circa 1891. Photo caption reads
Salem Baseball Team, 1891 Front: Jay Smith, Joe Laueque, Douglas Minto (manager), Matt Stanley, Josh Riley Back: Al Collette, Sam Booth, Cliff Mellon, Billy Lavan, Frank Cross. Baseball reference doesn't have a record of him playing with the team. Could the fellow in the top row right be Frank Cross? |

Lave's brother Frank was just 18 in 1891. I think the Salem player may be a little older, and has a rounder face than what is seen in the Baseball-reference.com image.
