Smart Rory uses press to advertise. Good sportsmanship & integrity. Stopped by Kid Pueblo. Expalains loss to press. Altitude problems. Win and draw vs Garcia. $50 for 10 days of sparing. Subs in undercard bout $500 purse 60% to winner. Bets $100 on himself too. KO's Gunner Maley quickly. Shane is 165 when he meets Logan soon after Maley bout. Has frame that can grow to HW. WD vs Barney McCoy in Omaha. Blinky Miller KO'd in Council Bluffs. LD in rematch with Barney McCoy in Sioux City-agreed to knot ko McCoy and crossed by Mankerlitz. Sweet on Lyndal Lund. Rejoins Haney thinking Lyndal will marry Rogers. Mom died in street car accident. Dad, a stone mason, went to work on Panama Canal and died on return voyage. Hurts Shane with a counter in 1st but is wobbled by a shot to the heart. In 2nd Lang targets Rory's once broken jaw. Shane works body. lang takes a knee and slack hits gong accidently. In 3rd he hits Shane with a right cross to jaw, misses a second and is open to a right followed by a left uppercut that puts him out ofr 10 minutes. Rory has to get past Torpedo Jones for a shot at Sully. KO's Jones. Great at feinting with his eyes. Shane 202 for title bout vs. Sully. Reach 78, chest 43 1/2. In 1st Sully's first puch opens a gash over Rory's right eye and drops Rory for 8. Another right drops Rory for 7. Rory's left keeps Sully away. Dropped a 3rd time. Round 2 Shane staggers Sully. Round 3 Rory dropped by right cross. Round 4 Sully is jolted and his nose split, but after staggering Rory Jones slips to ropes, Rory sportingly lets him recover. Keep close to an opponent til they are forced to slash away and to beat them to the punch with a short blow that has added force because the opponent is coming in to it. More effective than counter punching. Comes off the floor fighting after a knockdown. First fighter in 20 years that has everything-Cross-counter,body pivot, foot shift on throwing his right, jolting left jab. Rory's whirlwind attack dropped Jones in first, 2nd they exchange and a solar plexis punch puts Jones down. Both shake each other in third and Rory is cut, while cornered. Next round a double knockdown with Shane beating the count at 9 and Jones out. Jones first loss.

Go to cornerwork.com and look under fictional fighters. There will be a zipped file that will be listed as Rocky fighters. I have all the main characters downloaded from there in my universe.

Dont think the "Undisputed" characters have been done. Probably could ask bear, but he may be busy due to the beta testing of 2.5 right now.

Ving Rhames as Iceman Chambers and Wesley Snipes' Monroe Hitchins are in my plans. Not sure how quickly I'll be doing them. I have been creating some fighters recently but they've been done playtesting the new version so I probably won't post any new files until after the release of the new version.

Working on creating another small uni as a playtest taking the lead from Chris's revived Royal Explorers club universe. Planning one beginning with James Figg and hoping to move to where Chris has started his. Taking a stab at early prize ring guys who's ratings will conform to what Chris is doing.

James ellroy is a huge boxing fan so there are probably other fictional fighters in his work.

I read the book 20 years ago when it first came out and my memory of that is dimmer than of the movie, but the screen play I found gives me enough to work from and mentions a third fighter. I'm fond of hard-boiled detective fiction and grew up with film noir.
