Scratch that - it's now happening to every new player I load. The only players it doesn't seem to affect are players I've already looked at before. ugh.

I suppose I will try to generate all new player pictures again and see if that makes it stop.

When looking around the league modifiers I compared the 2011 league totals imported iinto the game with what baseball-reference.com has. If I am understanding everything right there aren't quite the same.

1.its show cc sabathia with a game of 2 run

2.its show cc sabathia with no earned run

3.its show cc sabathia with a 0.00 Era but with only 1 shutout in 2 games

Imported a league as I said before and draft pool plus free agents not visible. So I thought it might be he Import. Did a setup with 32 separate leagues, 32 countries. Associated them all. Inaugural draft pools empty for all leagues. Filled teams league by league with fictional players. Ran to draft, Draft pool empty. Players where generated but doesn't show up in pool or free agent list. So no players where drafted. If you do a player search from the managers screen, they show up.

EDIT: These leagues 'one imported' had no financials or minors.

I have two managers set up for this season (one managing Boston, one Philadelphia), and I manage the games manually, rather than simming. When I start a game, I do select so that the AI sims the other games in the background.

In the past (e.g., OOTP 12), when I did this, the AI would sim every game EXCEPT the game for the other team I have a manager set for. However, when I played my first game just now (as Philadelphia), I was surprised to see that the AI simmed the Boston game rather than letting me play it.

I can get around this by just not simming any games in the background, which is what I'll do unless you can fix this bug.

CC gave up 2 unearned runs in one of the games, so he should have 1 shut-out in 2 games and a 0.00 ERA.... I'm not following what the error would be here.

Similar issue. Started a new universe from scratch with several leagues. All with inaugural drafts. No players were generated. ????

EDIT: Ok, it generated players. They show up under the "Show all Players" Tab, not there are no players eligible for the inaugural draft. Tried releasing all players and schedule inaugural draft action, but this did not fix it.

EDIT2: After some more fooling around, it appears that this issue is caused by creating leagues with "No Foreigners Allowed" and Base Limit on "League Nationality" when these options are selected in concert with each other, the game is created with broken players. They show up under the "Show all Players" tab, but are neither Free Agent nor Draft eligible.

Should be vs. NY, vs. NY, vs Bal.

Not sure if this has been reported, or if its even a bug. After 1 and a half seasons of an MLB league my scout has given me 4 prospects from other countries. That's fine and good, but every prospect is from a different country than the one scouted. I know players move to play in leagues all over the world, but what is a 16yr old Columbian kid doing in Taiwan? I also had a french dude in Puerto Rico. I forget the other two.

Also, after the end of my first season as the Yankees GM, Derek Jeter had a career ending injury. I have no idea what the injury was, because I didn't get a message. The season and playoffs were already over. There was just a news story that he retired to become a TV guy. Weird.

People who are trying to change logos!!!
You need to make sure the png files are 150x150
if they are larger than that, the game will not change to your logo

I've noticed considerable issues with the League Associations feature. The game always creates an extra one whenever I click "Add Association". Also, whenever I add a template of Major-League level leagues to a saved game, I don't have the option to create an association with the template teams. The respective leagues don't show up on the check-off list.

League began in 1975, built from a template.
In 1986, I noticed that most of the league leaders were free agents in the middle of the season. Clicking on the current HR leader, for example, shows him as retired. But he retired in 1995.

I am going to start this one over, but will keep the league files if you want to see them.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or simply something that is in the game by design. But, when I was sorting out my minor league lineups and rotations, I noticed something that I hadn't noticed before. When I selected the "ask the manager for pitching rotation", the manager not only did that but also reassigned the pitchers positions. For example, he shuffled SPs to MRs and vice versa. Not just their spot in the rotation, but the actual position listed on the roster.

Some of the choices made defied logic in putting low stamina guys as SPs and high stamina guys in middle relief. I might be wrong about this, but I don't recall previous versions of OOTP changing a players position on the roster. I don't recall if the same held true for position players, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I am using the commissioner mode and the option to manually select the all-star teams has not shown up. I have tested it in a fictional league, OOPT 12 import, and major league quick start game. I thought it would come up as a special event like the manual awards option did. Is this a bug or has the feature been removed?

Also when I imported my OOPT 12 league I noticed that in the player history awards section only the all-star awards were there. The MVP and Cy Young awards were credited in the awards summary section but not the individual Award section.

i have noticed twice now that when you implement a double switch, the pitcher appears on the BNN broadcast screen as both the pitcher and as a position player at the position you double switched with...

i have attached a screenshot. i doubleswitched with replacing Nyjer Morgan with Carlos Gomez in CF by putting gomez in the pitcher's slot. the new pitcher K-Rod appears as the pitcher in the field as well as in CF

Ok so here is the background of what happened:

I am in the middle of a modern 2012 baseball game (as Toronto, playing the Red Sox). A. Gonzalez reached base on an error so there were two men on when Youkilis hit a three run shot. Since that error occured, my pitcher (R. Romero) was not hit with any earned runs. Ok so far so good.

The very next batter hits a home run but for some reason R. Romero was not credited with an earned run for it! Weird? well lets keep going.

The very next batter after that one (rough night for RR) hits another homer. This one does not give RR an earned run either!

So basically my bug is that he was not being credited with earned runs that he should have been receiving
