Walkers news: Nov. 4 -- IT SEEMS WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

It looks like this could be the end of the franchise.
I was advancing from Nov, 3 to Nov. 4, when the game seemed to hit a stall.
I walked away for 10 minutes to see if it would solve itself.
Came back. Still stuck at 19 percent.
I shut the game down, and the saved file for the league was gone.
I did find a backup.
And I am not good about backups.
And since the game has been running without a hitch, I have no clue how far back it goes.
I was looking forward to trying to rebuild the River Walkers, but if it entails playing out a rancid 2033 season.
Maybe it's a message to call it a career.

Last save was on Sept. 1.
I need to evaluate what I want to do.

Moving forward

I have decided to continue on with the River Walkers franchise, after failing to find a fix to the corruption that shut things down a few nights ago.
I will resume using a backup that dated back to Sept. 1, 2033.
I simmed out the rest of the season, to the date where the game crashed.
However, the original version where I played every game will stand as the official end of the 2033 season.
In the new simulation, Dayton and Cedar Rapids, the two teams which made the World Series, with Dayton prevailing, didn't even make the playoffs.
The final four rather was Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Rockford and Quad City.
Grand Rapids defeat Rockford, 4-3 in the World Series.
The Walkers ended their regular season 69-93, rather than 70-92.
Hopefully, no major injuries that will derail careers or minor league player development, this does not mess things up too bad moving forward.

This is the first time the 46-year-old Werner has held such a position at the major league level.
