Below is a comparison of Drissel (identified as Driscoll) from the photo of the St. Louis Police Department club and the woodcut of Drissel from the newspapers at the time of the game. They are similar, but the photo isn't really clear enough. Can someone improve the image?

Any photos of Ken Hunt as a Atlanta Brave? He was a N.R.I. in 1966. Thank you in advance.

I don't believe that Ken Hunt was ever on the Braves' active spring training roster. I see that the 26-Feb-1966 issue of The Sporting News, printed shortly before the opening of spring training, lists Hunt with the Braves, as shown in your post, but outfielder Ken L. Hunt opened spring training with the Cubs, as reported in the 12-Mar-1966 issue of the same:

"A total of 44 players, 38 off the regular roster and six minor league farmhands reported for the opening of training on February 28. The farmhands were catchers Johnny Dudek and Don Bryant, pitchers Len Church and Billy Connors, infielder Paul Popovich and outfielder Ken Hunt, the ex-Angel trying out on a look-see basis."

The Cubs must have liked what they saw, because at or near the conclusion of spring training, they worked out a deal with the Senators, who still owned Hunt's contract.

All that said, pitcher Ken R. Hunt was a free agent at the outset of spring training 1966. The day after The Sporting News listed Hunt with the Braves, Ken R. Hunt's hometown paper, The Ogden Examiner, reported that he "will not report to play organized baseball this spring."

It's entirely possible that either of the Ken Hunts may have been offered a spot on the Braves' spring training roster, but neither of them reported to Braves camp.

Here's a much clearer image of Duncan from the 10/30/1897 edition of The Sporting News.

Walter Coleman 1895

A much improved image of Coleman was found in the 1899 Jefferson City, MO team photo. We previously only had a woodcut.

It's good to see that the Padres' "Turn Ahead The Clock' uniforms from 1999 weren't grotesquely horrible. **shudders at memory of the "Mercury Mets" **

That said, it's still not the regular uniform, so have this look at Baerga in proper Pads garb, courtesy of SABR:

B/W and over the shoulder, but at least it's the standard kit.

(The Yankees were one of six MLB teams that refused to participate in the promotion, so MLB tried to convince George Steinbrenner to change his mind.

MLB FLACK: Don't you want to show the fans what the Yankees will be wearing in 2021?
STEINBRENNER: We're wearing it now.

BOOM! Score one for the Boss.

[Did MLB seriously think those were the uniforms of the future? Yikes.])

1971 California Angels

It's been a while since I have posted here. I am currently working on making 1972 cards based on the 1971 season players. Similar to Topps, but without the head shots and airbrushing to place players acquired during off season on cards. I have been searching for any images of Angels' players in the home uniform to match what I have found. I have attached completed cards to show who is already done. I don't mind if images are of players who did not play in 71, but are pictured in seasons' home uniform. (see Gene Brabender) Not sure if I may have missed some of the Topps Vault images that were released and some of you may have them. Any help would greatly appreciated. Message me if you have images, but you may not want to post here. Thank you for any help.

After Drissel joined the police force, he stuck around long enough to become a Sergeant. That got him not just a photo, but also a bio in a 1910 history of the St. Louis Police Department.

Harry Maskrey 1882 Missing Player

A photo of Harry Maskrey was attached to his Find a Grave memorial in 2021 with the caption "Harry holding his nephew, Criswell at Kansas City, MO. 1899."

Thank you, Penale52, for finding a photo of Harry Maskrey, one more difficult missing player who can now be checked off the list.

Baerga

Surely, that's not a San Diego uniform. The betting helmet has an interlocking "SJ," not an "SD" - and the uniform resembles that of the Mets.

I'm no expert on winter league gear but that certainly looks like the San Juan Metros (see attached)
