Here's a nice photo of Ermer with the Washington Senators from the 3/12/1948 edition of The Charlotte News. He was trying out for the Senators but was released to Charlotte at the end of March.

I have what I think is probably the easiest request in the long and fabled history of this thread. Heretofore, I have reviewed this thread to get a bunch of images you have posted for making custom baseball cards, originally for OOTP and later for fun. I love this thread and appreciate the hard work you have done and allowed me to sponge off.

I have what I would think is a relatively easy request. I am having a hard time finding a usable color image of Mike Caldwell in a Padres uniform that is not his 1973 Topps card image. I wouldn't think this is as tough as it is, but I would appreciate help in finding one so I can improve on this image for the 1972 Topps Update/Traded set I'm putting together.

That's a nice photo. The smile has me puzzled. Here's what I ended up with.

The Krantzbucks colorization is spot on, and even makes that card useable.

Not the home cap from 1977 that was requested but maybe the equivalent road version will provide the required functionality.

This probably isn't what you are looking for, but the illustration below is from the Washington Times Herald of August 11th, 1901. (The same article had illustrations of Nap Lajoie and Billy Clingman that had suspiciously similar faces.) I have not seen a photograph of Jordan in either uniform. Happy New Year!
