Ronald Frederick Allen colorized with the St Louis Cardinals from a request and post shared by Cinemaodyssey. Great image of perhaps the least available of the Allen bothers. I had not seen him in what would appear to be a major league uniform (1970 St Louis uniform I presume)

I've been playing with the new Topaz app, Photo AI, and used your image as a test case. The app aims to combine the standalone Denoise AI, Sharpen AI, and Gigapixel AI apps into one. It's too expensive to justify just for tweaking old baseball pics but for anyone that is a photography hobbyist, it's a very nice item to have in your toolbox.

Impressive upgrade. I agree about the price versus the use. Most of the images I colorize I end up resizing to 160x200 so I would not be able to justify the cost. This one looks great though.

Can any magic be done to Stan Walton as a Pilots. Was in there system 1969 & 1970 minor league camp. Thanks in advance. If not that is fine.

Here is what I am able to do. I recolored it and tried to fix up a Pilots cap. Oh, and tried to resize it to human proportions.

Ruperto "Rupe" Toppin colorized by request with the Kansas City Athletics. While doing this colorization, I checked the player on baseball reference as I normally do to check the player name and years played with club in question. This one was easy, Toppin only played in one major league campaign with the 1962 Kansas City A's. His image on Baseball reference is even the self same image I am going to be working on, albeit their image is of MUCH lower quality, and was even colorized. I work it up with the familiar Athletic green and gold and got a nice result. I decided to be thorough and check the hat on Dressed to the Nines because the bill in the black and white is a shade lighter than the rest. The 1962 uniform turns out to be quite different than what I had expected. The jersey is base white with red and blue shoulder stripes and either a blue or red undershirt depending on whether it a home or away uniform. The cap is blue with a red bill. Note to self; in the future always do all your research ahead of time. I was able to go back and change the colors on the uniform. I present both images here. I guess the green and gold one can be one of those "what ifs" or "never weres." Great image to be colorized by the way. Thank you for sharing it (and using the old remini magic on it)
