Lemp Ave. lead the pack with a few yet to get going. The NC West looks like it will be a good battle.
(Seems I need to turn the spell checker off.) Last edited by Tinkerman; 01-04-2022 at 05:27 AM. |

Tuesday is my "busy morning" so I will make this brief. Lots and lots of OL teams winning and losing! Annandale Atom Smashers off to a very hot start. New York Patriots off to an excellent start as well. OL teams dominating the league.

Annandale keeps smashing and keep their OL lead. NY Patriots had a bad month and fall back in the race. HelthWyzer, Route 66, and Sonora HS all move up in the OL race. I still want to note there are lots of teams in Silver this week.
Route 66's Ichiro is leading the batting ave. race, and South Holland's Lou Gehrig is smashing it with the lead in OB%, Slugging, and OPS. Waffletown's Pedro leads in ERA, ERA+, and rWAR. South Holland's Yadier Molina leads in Def Efficiency. Right now all 10 playoff spots are occupied by OL teams which means among other things a guaranteed Silver Champ from OL. The WC races are very close as is the NC West and AC east. |

It's been a great first half for back in form Cary. Paxville are gonna have to go some to make it competitive. It's a shame that Nowhere don't have 2 more fixtures.

Knockemstiff are currently 6-0 v Port Ruppert, but there are 13 more games for the Mundys to get some payback!
Could the Farmhands turn rustlers? |

There are some hot teams in Silver. The Helthwyzer Crakes and Waffletown Syrups called a brief truce on each other in their AC East race and beat up on the rest of OL. The Syrups beat the Crakes 2-1 in a 3 game series and then the Crakes went on a 14 game win streak and the Syrups went on a 13 game win streak (mostly over OL teams). The Syrups were 15-2 and the Crakes were 20-5. Annandale played solid ball in June but fell behind the Crakes.
There were also some teams who were very hot for a game and this Route 66 Hot Rods game is remarkable. After the Keystone Kops beat the Hot Rods in the first two games in the series this happened: The Hot Rods had a massive offensive explosion crowned by Oscar Charleston going 6-7 with 2 HRs, 6 Rs, and 7 RBIs! This was not any feasting on position players either as the Kops bravely trotted out their entire pen (the Kops are still having an excellent season with a WC spot but this loss started a losing streak with a no doubt tired staff). In non-OL play there are 10 OL teams in the playoffs currently with several more trying to knock out OL teams for playoff spots. Besides the AC East race mentioned earlier the NC west race features several OL teams vying for up to 3 playoff spots. |

A very good month for Paxville, including a 3-1 series win over Cary, sees them pull within 1 game of the leaders.

Knockemstiff look to be in a very strong position, but the Mundys (in particular) can still heavily affect the outcome.

Annandale Atom Smashers are back on top the OL standings. The Crakes cooled off considerably by going 8-8. The Syrups stayed pretty hot and the Broncs moved up to stay in the race. Biggest individual performances of the month was NY Patriots' Smokey Joe 2-hitting the Sunday Drivers and Ernie Banks hitting 3 homers and getting 10RBIs(!) for Baltimore Barons (Banks also had another game with 2 homers and 5 RBIs in the month).
There are 22 OL teams in Silver and they are looking to have all 10 playoff spots. This means there will be an OL team as Silver 337 champ and 4 promotions. Only 2 OL teams are in relegation right now. There will be a lot of OL Silver teams next week as well. |

Cary didn't play while Paxville went 5-0. They both have 7 games left with none against each other. Brooklyn will account for 11 of those games!

Knockemstiff have 14 games remaining, so there's still some chance that the wheels might fall off.

We have a close 4 team race! A dramatic shuffle at the top of the standings. Waffletown Syrups(who went 12-4) charged into the lead. Sonora HS Broncs (who went 14-6) moved up to 3rd. The Helthwyzer Crakes held onto a close 2nd. What happened to Annandale? Well, they went 4-15 to fall to 4th. All the teams have lots of OL games left so this is going to be a very close race.
It looks like an all OL playoffs. We will have an OL champion but that might be a closer battle than the OL crown. |

Cary and Paxville both went 6-1, so the Kings finished ahead, and it was ultimately decided by their 4-3 head-to-head!
The pair may well meet for another crunch series, so good luck Cary! Nowhere hung in there (hopefully get a better draw next week), but Brooklyn and Silly will have to go again in Gold. |

Knockemstiff had a solid final month and can now focus on trying to get past the DS.
Lemp Ave. and Port Ruppert will join them in a tough playoffs. Unsurprisingly, the 12 relegation spots claimed a couple of OL victims Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!. |

It was a very exciting and close finish. The Waffletown Syrups won their last 5 games (including an extra inning game against the Crakes) to grab the OL title. Congrats. Sonora gets 88 wins (!!) to finish third. Unfortunately I have to drive 2 hours to take my daughter to her Giant Slalom race (I will bring a laptop so if I have wifi I may be able to post more later) so I do not have time for more now.
