May 1st 1905 Update
The St Louis Cardinals are off to a hot start, hoping to stay hot to make their second post season appearance, the first and last time was in 1882 when they lost to the St Louis
Brown Stockings as the Providence Grays. Cleveland Naps have high hopes for this season to avenge their loss during the 1904 World Series to the Boston Beaneaters.

Washington Senators Report
Record 8-5: 4th Place 1 GB
The season is off to a good start for the Senators after a disastrous 1904 season. Cy Young is 3-0, John Titus is batting .339 after struggling last season at .263. George Van Haltren is off to a season a good way at .333. Not bad for a 39 year old.

June 20th 1905 Update
In the National League, St Louis and Boston are going at it, back and forth for the top spot. The Beaneaters have stumbled a bit during the month so the Cardinals could catch up
and over take them. But in the American League, the Senators hold a slim 1.5 game lead over the Cleveland Naps. A recent series showed them split that series and each is 4-4 for
the current year.

Washington Senators Report

Christy Mathewson is the leader in shut outs for the season with 5. George Davis is out with back spasms and Bill Donovan will probably not be back until the very end of the season.

August 25th 1905 Update
We have a potential Triple Crown winner if that happens. Charles "Chief" Bender (22-6, 1.72 era, and 169 Ks) is really close. Only Christy Mathewson stands in his way.
Mathewson has more wins and more strikes out. With only 40 games left, Bender has a good chance of the feat.
