With time running down in the fourth quarter and Washington down 38-7, Daniels, for some reason, was allowed to go back on the field. He drove the Commanders down the field, toward a meaningless score that would do nothing to change how thoroughly and completely Seattle had dominated the Commanders all night long, in all three phases.

And then, Jayden Daniels, because it’s how he’s wired, took off running again, this time from the Seattle 2-yard line with seven and a half minutes left in the game, trying to score. And Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas, because it’s what he does for a living, grabbed Daniels and threw him to the ground. And Daniels, straining for that extra yard, fell awkwardly, on his left elbow. It was … it was awful. Don’t look at a replay of it. Ever.
I won't.

Always sad to see a New York stalwart such as Quinnen sent packing because the Jets can't get out of their own way. Won't save the 'Pokes season, but it will keep the fanbase from completely losing their **** for, oh, two weeks. (Maybe.)

Annie Agar, week 9.

"The Panthers are a very serious team this year." Yeah, I love Rico, but c'mon.

Seattle may have overpaid for Saheed given the oversaturation of wide receivers and he is on his contrct year.

Thoughts after week 9

So we've reached the halfway point of the season..........

.......If the playoffs started today, the Chiefs would be emptying out their lockers. They wouldn't even be the 1st team left out. The Jags are a half game ahead, plus own the tiebreaker.......

.....The NFC race for the postseason should be interesting. Philly is the only team in a comfortable position. They are 3 wins better than Dallas & Washington. Everyone else is in a dogfight. You could be in 1st place today & out of the playoff picture tomorrow....In the NFC South, Tampa is one win ahead of Carolina & they still have 2 games w/each other left......The NFC West & North is anybody's to win. Seattle, LA & Frisco are tied in the win column. (All 4 play each other this Sunday) Only one and a half games is between 1st place GB & cellar dweller Minnesota.......

......Derrick Brown is a menace...........

......You're supposed to get two pumps...... But seriously, what is the celebration rule in the NFL? Cause I don't know how that was flagged and others are let go. That flag led to a missed XP & could have been the dif in the game...........

.......Wasn't like there were any huge blockbusters, but did it seem like more trades than usual this deadline?.............

........I'm trying to figure out which is more confusing....That the Bengals haven't fired Al Golden, their defensive coordinator? Or that Al Golden, their defensive coordinator, is an ex NFL TE?............

.......ESPN has some impressive equipment. MNF had a camera shot of Jerry Jones & Stephen A sitting together in Jones' luxury box. That's a lot of ego & camera hogging on the screen at one time. Surprised TV screens didn't crack all over the country...........

.......Should we start putting CJ Stroud in the "Tua" category? I believe this is the 3rd time he has had a concussion after a blow to the head......And BTW, the hit he took Sunday was far from dirty. CJ slid late & the DB hit him shoulder 1st, square in the chest........

.......Opening week saw the Browns play the Bengals. Final week will see the Browns play the Bengals. Would this be the 1st time a QB started a game vs an opponent he started for in the same season?......Flacco w/Cleveland....4 games 58.1%, 815 yds, 2TD's, 6 INT.......Flacco w/Cincy...4 games 64.7% 1254 yds 11TD's, 2 INT's......If that doesn't say fire the Browns' think tank, I don't what would convince you. That is either a sign the coaching on game day sucks, or the assembling of talent in the front office sucks. Flacco, after spending the previous year & an off season on your roster did that, and walks in w/zero equity & does this, has to be a sign to clean house.................

No it won't. Most of the fanbase knows this season is lost. This was about next season.

Quarterbacks need to stop sliding. They're in the most vulnerable position when they do so. The reason being, is that they always slide too late. Stop the sliding, just dive forward. The 15 yard penalty isn't worth getting your skull crushed.

Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland dead @ 24.

Like "what the bleep!", man.

EDIT: Reports are after a welfare check, he shot himself after a police chase.

Dead at 24, I just assumed it was an overdose. I have no idea what happened.

Holy ****, he just had a good game on Monday night. I was about to be all "maybe trading Parsons was the right move, after all?"

Apparently not. R.I.P.

He had nothing to do with the Parsons trade. Apparently he was battling depression. It does not discriminate. Regardless of your situation in life, It is an equal opportunity killer if you don't get help.

Mahomes is not MVP once again, even though he was betting favorite 2 weeks or so ago. And he did nothing to be even in the discussion in the first place. Would be interested to see what Pilymarket/Kalshi has been saying, as I don't pay attention to those.

Dak and Mahomes have basically the same stats through 9 games. Why not Mayfield/Darnold/Goff/Jonathan Taylor/JSN? Allen seems to be the narrative favorite

I don't get why the justice system is so light on drunk drivers. This woman killed 3 people, including Vikings rookie CB Khyree Jackson. Each count of negligent homicide carried a 5 yr max sentence. But they plead her down to 3 years total.

Three lives equals one year??????

Come on, man.............

If what I read was correct, the victims might have known her from school? Would maybe explain it. Families may have asked for this

Parsons trade to Packers prevents him from going to NFC East or Kenny Clark to NFC North before 2028 draft.

Do the Panthers plan on throwing further than 5 yds today?

Two surprising endings with the Bears and Texans winning late.

JJ McCarthy sucks.

Jefferson in 4 McCarthy starts: 17 rec 209 yds. In 5 other games: 34 rec 479 yds. You got a top 3, if not the best WR in the NFL & you can't find him.

JJ McCarthy sucks.
