The Stars posted their worst record of any month, 9-7, while the Legends continued on fire, going 6-0, to make the crown chase a contentious affair. Shinbone has 13 games left, 10 at home, and Shoebox has 14, 11 on the road. The Wreckers remain mathematically alive, but would need both of the top two to win one game each, at most, while they swept their remaining six. In PT play, OL has been dominant and will end end up with eight playoff teams, with nine possible if Boulder City can close a 2-1/2 game gap. Hartford has slumped and faces relegation without a late season rally.

Lemp Ave. stays strong heading into September. Without actually doing the math, the Perfectos are almost a lock to capture the OL S290 title.

Despite earlier predictions of a near-certain Lemp Ave title, Sonora used a so-so month by the Perfectos to capture the flag in OL S290.

The NC playoffs are an OL-only affair, while Sonora and Ostego represent in the AC playoffs. Daytona Beach and Asheboro return to Bronze.

After the dust settled... Both congratulations and commiserations to Cary!

It's been a really good OL battle this week, and Nowhere were just 1 win away from taking the crown for themselves.

However, I'm really disappointed that Cary ended up getting sucked up by the relegation hoover

. Fingers crossed they bounce straight back. Thankfully there wasn't room for Silly as well

Paxville came through a very tough division to make the playoffs, despite going 5-14 against the WHALERS, who are on paper probably the best team in the league.

The Legends continued their comeback into September, going 10-4, mostly on the road, to win down the stretch, capturing the OL B347 crown. The Stars dimmed, posting a pedestrian 8-7 record, despite a heavily home schedule. Shinbone started well, sweeping a 4-game homestand, but slumped badly at the end, losing four straight home contests.
The OL is well-represented in the PT playoffs, with a solid shot at an all-OL Series. Hartford will be bounced back to iron.

Annandale made a late season charge, going 11-2 in OL play for the final month; but it wasn't enough as they fell just short (just one win/loss flip-flop would have done it). Port Ruppert claims the OL crown, and fittingly so as they are also the lone OL rep in the post season.

HelthWyzer, Cleveland, and South Holland will move back to Silver.

Three of the four semifinalists in Silver are from the OL. Season champ Sonora lost in the Division series and will return to Silver to defend their title in 2066.

In the PT playoffs, Paxville was eliminated in diamond, Port Ruppert is in the conference finals in gold, Otsego Lake is in the American Conference finals in silver, while Keystone and Lemp Ave. are squared off in the National in silver. In bronze, it's all-OL, with Shinbone and Terra Incognita in the AC and Shoebox and Left Coast in the NC. I'll be back later with at least one trophy. Here's the set-up for next season:

Diamond - Nowhere, Knockemstiff, Silly, Paxville, Port Ruppert
Gold - Algoma, Waffletown, Coney Island, Annandale, Seattle, Babel, Brooklyn, Cary, Otsego Lake, Keystone, Lemp Ave.
