Hi, could someone please update where we stand on this issue? I didn't see it on the list of things fixed for today's patch, but I know this issue is unique in that it was thought to be fixed, identified and not fixed, and has been the subject of ongoing discussion.

I tested it and can confirm that this is still occurring with patch 2.

My minor league managers keep changing my lineups and depth charts

Is there any workaround to prevent this? I like to have TOTAL CONTROL over my minor leagues.

I'm running 1.0.2, btw.

You're probably experiencing the same thing I've experienced and reported on.

What's there to discuss? A player should get control over his minor league lineups. End of story. If we can't do that, then what's the point of having all this depth added to minor leagues? It's like:

Yeah, now you can see all your minor league box scores!!!

Awesome! I'll totally be able to micromanage everything now!

Oh but your minor league managers will be able to override all your lineup changes.

****!!

Please please fix this!

Since they are under the NDA they can't discuss the issue they are having in the testers area. All they can tell you is that they are trying to make their (and yours) point known, and can't comment further than that.

TT# 1708 is now regressed and in review, moving to Logged Issues.

Yeah, I was trying to make my point known to them. I know the chain of command there, sarge.

Did you literally do that? If so, that's the problem. The second action undid the first. You set all computer-controlled teams to allow AI roster changes.

I didn't do that and it still happens to me.

Could anyone experiencing this problem in 1.0.2 please confirm the following:

1. Is this happening in a new (freshly created) 1.0.2 league, or a pre-1.0.2 league?

2. If it's the latter, does the problem occur in a newly created league?

3. What type of league is this? Standard/historical/fictional, and what is the basic league configuration?

Thanks very much,

Steve

It is happening to me in a pre-1.0.2 created league. It is a fictional. One league, two divisions of four teams each.

I started a league post 1.0.2 patch. I'm still in the preseason, but when I get a chance I will make a backup copy and advance it to the regular season and try to test it.

Yes, please do let us know. I suspect it will be better in the new game, but I'll hold my breath for now...

Steve
I tried an experiment last night on a brand new league (patch 1.02 installed) and the AI changed the depth charts for my AAA affiliate.

Can you tell me your exact league setup, please? I really need to try to replicate this issue.

OK. I created a universe using all the real leagues available and I modified team names, MLE's and financials and saved the template. I had control of the Astros franchise (shocking, I know). Once it created all the players I took the starting catcher and 1B from the Round Rock AAA affiliate and swap their places on the depth chart. Then I simmed 2 weeks of the offseason and checked to see if the two players were still swapped as I left them. Unfortunately the AI had returned them to their original positions.

Is that all the info you need? I'll check back later tonight and tomorrow.

I just tested this using the unreleased patch and the existing patch. In the existing patch, as you indicated, the AI promptly changed the depth charts back.

In the unreleased patch version, the AI made no changes. So, that AI move, at least, appears fixed.

Can anyone else come up with a scenario in 1.0.2. where the AI makes unwanted changes without fail? I desperately want to test them.
