Sure you can, but you have to be careful of different debut years for players, otherwise you could end up with duplicate players. If your original database had a player debuting in 1980 and he was brought into your league, then in 1981 you decide to use a diffferent database, that same player could have a debut year of 1981 in the new database and would be brought in a second time

If your using the older lahman and want to use the new lahman it should work fine. The debut years should be the same
|
