And for the record, I DESPISE websites composed in Flash... But that one is actually nice.

From a purely selfish point of view I'd love a similar skin depicting the pre 1900's.
Background sepia pics of Corbett, Fitz and John L etc.

If you have the time and are so inclined, I agree with Tosti. You might think about designing multiple title screens depicting different eras and one using elements from many eras. I never liked the look of the original title screen.

I'll do some noodling this weekend and see if I can come up with something. For an 1890s-1900s screen I'm seeing something like the cover of the old Police Gazette. In fact, you might get some inspiration from covers of old Ring Magazines for subsequent eras. You need to find icons and symbols of each period that instantly identify it somehow, particularly unique fonts in the title of the game.

Nice stuff, Tosti. I like the Scrollwork in the title. Maybe include a shot of John L. Sullivan in top hat with Pompadour Jim Corbett in the foreground facing off against Joe Choynski or Peter Jackson. Or a crouching Jim Jeffries.
